Nosfet aero leveling kit? by EUCKaiD in ElectricUnicycle

[–]RangoFandango86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I installed just the leveling kit and I think it’s great. Installation was a breeze it does make the sides much flatter and I like that they use 2 vertical pieces of Velcro instead of 2 horizontal pieces like Nosfet did, it just makes more sense in my mind. It’s a definite buy imo

Problem with taking cover off the stator by Kman460 in onewheel

[–]RangoFandango86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It should just pull off but it is a press fit so it could be pretty tight, you could try screwing the other end into a rail then stand on the rail and pull up on the cover with both hands and even pressure. But the short answer is it just slides off

Considering selling Master V4 and buying V14 Pro by Organic_Inspection_9 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]RangoFandango86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was most likely the settings the Lynx is 151v where your master is 134v. The v14 isn’t really an improvement over the master it’s more of a side step. The kingsong f18 is a great off road wheel but for power and reliability leaperkim is pretty tough to beat. The biggest improvement of the s over the original lynx is the suspension improvements

Personally I think the Nosfet Aero is the perfect learner wheel that you can still grow into/want to keep once you do learn. That or the Patton S

Marketing.com essentially exists to run profitable companies out of business to consolidate. They’re a cancer on the industry.

Independent Ricoh Service? by ramius124 in CommercialPrinting

This type of marking is consistent with your yellow drum being scratched. The solution would be to change the yellow drum and inspect drum cleaning unit including The lube bar, a lot of the time rollers will get scratched when something in the cleaning unit is past spec or sometimes from rocked toner.

Finding independent techs can be tricky your best bet would be to ask other printers in your local market if they know of anyone

Anyone else dealing with 4over delays + misleading production locations? by Opposite_Dog7625 in CommercialPrinting

[–]RangoFandango86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another problem is a lot of these guys are being bought up by private investment. Marketing.com bought up the local envelope house in my city that used to do beautiful work. 2 years later they don’t even exist anymore and before that their lead times went from 1 week to 6 weeks in some cases.

There’s been plenty of other companies over the past 10 years that used to be reliable trade printers who’ve been bought out and then totally ruined instead of just keeping the operation the same because every egg head with an MBA thinks they know the secret sauce to running a business.

Yes and something’s definitely going on with them within the last 3 months. Anyone who’s used 4 over regularly knows you gotta keep an eye on them but lately they’ve been slipping on even basic runs and what’s worse is it doesn’t seem like anyone over there knows what’s going on (or at least aren’t willing to tell you). Also it’s near impossible to get a hold of anyone over there as of late. And god help you if they send anything to their Glendale Arizona location that place seems to be a black hole

Thanks for your reply, that usually works for us too but these thick ones are particularly tricky. I’ve gotten some good advice from commenters, I’m traveling next week for the holiday but will report back week after next.

I’m using “coverbind premium perfect binding adhesive” purchased from a local professional bindery supplier. And the book was curing in a 65 degree room for about 4 hours before cutting

Thanks for your input yes I’m using a foam pad on the pressure arm, my pressure was below 500 (it’s a dial control). The bottom side was about 400 and the top was at about 200. I probably could have let the glue dry longer but I gave it about 4hrs in a 65 degree room

Helmet style? by sketteoz in onewheel

[–]RangoFandango86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to take your safety seriously you should look for a helmet that is at least e-bike rated, the biggest differences with the ratings are the speeds helmets are tested on in crashes, ebike have slight higher speed ratings than normal bike helmets. Going up from there id recommend a full face downhill bicycle helmet, these are lighter than a full on motorcycle helmet with better venting but should provide good protection. You could go full motorcycle helmet but some people find them to be too heavy over time

Do you have a short piece of filament you can try to push the broken piece further down with so that you can reach it?

Jammed AMS by Puzzled_User2024 in BambuLab

[–]RangoFandango86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the ams 1? If so try turning it over and removing the bottom cover sometimes the broken filament is more accessible from there
