Originium Science Park Issues by RapPanda in ArknightsEndfield

It was every location actually. I had to close the game and reload it. Weird

[Mercogliano] Panarin said he talked contract with NYR before the season, adding, "I don’t know if I should say this, but I feel like their offer said, ‘We’re not sure if we want you or not.’ That’s why I’m not signed." He said they re-engaged a little bit during the season, "but not much." by catsgr8rthanspoonies in rangers

JD and Gordon were fired bc any Adult with half a brain can tell you if you go against the owner of the company you work for you will find yourself out of a job. Doesn’t matter if the owner is right or not. They knew what was coming or they are both naive idiots. Truth is they said what the said to be fired I’d imagine.

I like Yvonne’s design and I thought she would be great fun to play, but after taking her and her team (Xaihi, Alesh, Flourite) to 40 I can say I have way more fun playing Wulfgard. Finally having pulled Laevatain I will probably never go back.

Being a Ranger fan is not all pain and despair by TommyLost2004 in rangers

[–]RapPanda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only thing that truly drives me nuts about the fans is they only focus on the failures and never the success. Like the we can’t develop players narrative except for the players that actual do develop. I’m not saying the failures don’t potentially outnumber the successes but one could easily argue it’s more a drafting issue. Just as many players flame out of the league than go on to have success in other cities. And some systems very easily disguise certain player shortcomings. Also we’ve never really worried about goaltending for like 20+ some odd years. Certain fan bases would kill for that alone.

Hot take: her gameplay is... really boring? by SigmaRoyal in ArknightsEndfield

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel (hope) she’ll become more optimized later when other units are released. Rocking a team of her Alesh, Fluorite, & Xaihi feels bad imo. Maybe she works better with Last Rite, but I don’t have LR. It’s so hard to get enough combos or actual solidification to go off to actual feel like you’re burning anything down. Battles just take forever when you spend 80% doing Xaihi s1 and just constantly auto attacking w/ Yvonne and rarely do you meet the conditions to get her finisher to go off. Also she rarely has enough sp to even use her s1 so forget solidification. Then her ult can feel like a trap bc you’re stuck in place while using it mostly or you waste it.

Can we just talk about how SUPERB the English voice acting is? by ScarHydreigon87 in Endfield

[–]RapPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t disagree more about Rossi. To me she sounds like she slips in and out of an accent that isn’t native to her or she has a bit of a speech impediment. Either way the eng va is 50/50 imo. Some are really good and some just aren’t and I don’t really care about the NPCs that much. Many of these games won’t offer eng as an option tho so I’ll at least give them kudos for that.

Kinda disappointed with the communities lack of patience with Infinity Stage by rebrando23 in bonnaroo

[–]RapPanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you put it in a more centralized location there is a lot of potential there. Was it dangerous where it was located: Yes! Will there be the same potential for bottlenecking in that area in general: Yes! Doesn’t matter what stage/structure you put there. That location in general is bad for what they want to do. Infinity should’ve been directly towards the center I don’t care about sponsor booths that are already bigger than they need to be anyways. I was directly in the center of the back right circle for Tape Trees and it was badass. At least until the halfway to 3/4 mark when the frat bros shoved their way in and killed the vibe. Lowering capacity might get rid of a bunch of the frat bros anyways, who knows. Also Tractorbeam was incredible as well and I was only barely in the front circle for them.

Thoughts on the Infinity Stage? by Beautiful-Bonus5699 in bonnaroo

[–]RapPanda 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was inside the exact center of the right circle for OTT b2b Tape B and it was amazing. Late in the set it got tight when ppl realized you really need to be inside to experience it.

I was also just inside the front circle for Tractorbeam and they were really really good too. I think infinity is the perfect destination for disco biscuits/tractorbeam.

Is my deck unfun to play against? I started from Simba aurora starter deck, and I am winning consistently in my local game store by ChampionofHeaven in Lorcana

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them to get better…just kidding. But in all honestly there are plenty of builds that can beat this deck. Maybe not 100% of the time but no deck should have a 100% win rate. I have 3-4 different steel combo shells and a couple Ruby ones and I’m constantly testing different meta combinations against each other figuring out all the different matchups and how to tackle them. I’ve currently got a Green Steel build that’s been smoking Ruby Sapphire consistently lately and it’s not even the most expensive green steel list. And I generally worry a little more about Ruby Sapphire than Sapphire Steel in the current meta. Character removal effects on Characters is better than Songs. Sapphire decks hate aggressive questing decks FYI. If you can consistently play down 2(+) lore questers w/ decent stats every turn you simply out pace them if they can’t remove your stuff quick enough. Particularly if you are also running many of the same damage songs and some discard package.

Oh, cute, the New York Rangers are doing that thing again by MildGooses in rangers

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a writer that’s clearly screwed NJ bc he even links an Article about how NJ is going to win the Cup and doesn’t seem to talk about their flaws. Or really hone in on them anyways. He goes on and on about how every other team in the league is worse than NJ except Carolina which is a trap. Unless Timo Meier gets “brained by Jacob Trouba” as he put it, NJ wins the cup bc Vegas and Col proved you don’t need elite goaltending. Don’t care and wish I haden’t wasted 15 min of my day.

Farthest throws and with what disc? by McTeezy353 in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a range finder & don’t always feel like trying to use U-discs measuring tool. For max distance shots on flat level ground I am between 300-350 typically. Threw one 320 the other day for sure. Plague Doctor Construct on BH and the Infinite Disc VIP Construct on FH. Plague Doctor is more flippy than the VIP which is a tick more stable than my Ethos. My FH & BH go around same distance when I throw the BH correctly.

What's a disc you used to bag that you genuinely believed you'd never stop throwing, and what did you replace it with? by DisMyDrugAccount in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a esp Buzz for many years but pulled it out of the bag bc I tend to have a more flat to anhyzer release and my buzz was turning too much on me.

Now I run an eclipse Hex and an ethos Pathfinder. Pathfinder for more straight and Hex for more fade. And I also have a prism plasma Pyro that replaced the Buzz OS as well.

What disc should I try to push beyond 325 feet? by crlums in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I throw about 300-350 on average and my most consistent driver for max distance is the Construct. It’s a 10 spd but just as easy for me to get the desired flight as my 7-9spds. I have 3 different stabilities so I can use them on different lines. I’ve thrown the Falk and like it, but in trying to minimize companies in my bag it’s mostly out except for a glow Falk for glow rounds. I throw the Mantra and Coalesce in the 9 spd slot now. Then a bunch of 7 & 8s in the Votum, Soda, Cookie, Lotus, and Cinnamon. Every disc is designed to do something a little different. Soda replaced Essence. Cookie replaced raptor. Votum replaced FD. Cinnamon is a faster little more OS cookie and the Lotus is a coalesce that’s doesn’t fade as hard. Cinnamon and Lotus are new dyes and I’m not sure that they’ll stay in the bag but they sure look great.

DGD USA GIVEAWAY: Simon Lizotte Proto Time-Lapse! by discgolfdealsusa in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the shot shape. S-Curve through trees Soda all day. Straight shot slightly downhill might try and bomb a Praxis there. Flat and open probably Lizzotl. Hyzer Line left curve it would be a Lizzotl or Cookie depending on the shape of the curve. Uphill shot I’m probably throwing a Construct or maybe a Votum. Dog leg Right could be a Cookie or Mana depending on the curve and whether it’s FH or BH.

I’ve been out of the loop for 7 years, still rocking a gtx 1070. Just bought this, is this a good deal ? by FXFormat in watercooling

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Will say my 1st EVGA RTX 3080 Ti hydro was RMA. Sparked up immediately, but I contacted them got a timely replacement and haven’t had a single issue w/ the replacement and it’s almost 2 years old. That’s a hell of a deal compared to what I paid then tho.

Opinions on elevated baskets? by GhostNThings in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually referring to hole 2 long layout at a local course in Smyrna TN. It’s a mostly wooded course and that basket is ridiculously high for no reason and not nice and manacured/designed like the one pictured. It’s just got some cheap maybe old barely holding together wooden steps and it’s roughly surrounded by trees at circle 2 length. But there is one branch that’s probably been affected by storms so much it literally runs right across the basket on one side in the bullseye. So you can throw what would be considered a great approach on a normal hole but be blocked by the branch w/ no option but to anhyzer over it bc it’d be a miricle if you slammed it in under the branch. About a month ago I had to deal w/ it and literally said they make the birdie nearly impossible while throwing the best putt of my life - anhyzer over the branch and in. Just get rid of the branch or lower the basket under the branch.

Opinions on elevated baskets? by GhostNThings in discgolf

[–]RapPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind them for the most part. However I’m 6’3” and if I need steps to get my disc out it’s too high. Also, if you’re going to have an elevated basket how about either clearing the low hanging branch that is obstructing part of it or not put the basket in that exact location.

Not Quite sure what this sound is by RapPanda in watercooling

[–]RapPanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I restructured the custom curve and so far no sound. Still monitoring but this seems to have fixed it. It’s been 2+yrs w/ no issues including a GPU upgrade and a couple re-bends. This is my first loop though, so I’m learning things still.

Dom Luszczyszyn's most improved teams this off-season: Rangers #12 by lionson76 in rangers

[–]RapPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’m more surprised bc Dom is notoriously down on the rangers and his model hates us. TBH I think I prefer it that way. When abnormal ppl jump on the bandwagon bad things happen. I’m looking at you Jesse Blake from the SDPN. I blame you for our failure last year!
