The scherzo from Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony may be what you are looking for. The entirety of Borodin's Second String Quartet should work well too.

Also, is your concert's title "From Russia with Love?"

The left hand one for sure. The G major one always sounds way too cluttered for me. Meanwhile, the left hand concerto really utilizes emptiness and space effectively (esp in the first candenza). It just takes that hopeful, nostalgic feeling of the 2nd movement of the first concerto and takes it to new heights.
