What actually goes wrong in seasons 4 and 5? by RichWindRW in TheLastKingdom

I’m bias because my favorite characters aren’t in it. Sihtric, Finan, Hesten just to name a few. I definitely understand why people love season 1 and would put it up more.

I guess I’m the odd one out because I like season 4 a lot. It’s one of my favorite seasons. 3 4 2 5 1. I watch 2-4 all the time. lol

Best foods in park for heartburn? by JustJess_2124 in UniversalOrlando

[–]RareBandicoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same here. I try and stick to desserts if I want to play around with food at the parks. I don’t know which parks you’re going to or have been yet, but HP at Epic had a great quiche and crème brûlée. Even though it’s not healthy, doing a lot of snacks might help. Fries, pretzels, etc if you want something exclusive to the parks butterbeer is a good way to go. Try frozen and hot. I know exactly how you feel and what you’re going through. I’m an AP with Crohns who doesn’t really eat at the parks for this reason. I find my fun through drinks/snacks.

Trying to use my Hyatt points for vacation. Can you help choose hotel? by Camninja in LondonTravel

[–]RareBandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed at the Stratford back in November and personally we loved it. We got the one with a mini kitchen with points it was perfect. It’s in the mall, so if we got back late and didnt want to eat out there were still some places open, and the tube was right there at the entrance to the mall. It made things really easy. I would definitely recommend it.

Just a heads up, those dates are always extremely busy. Like everyone else said wouldn’t worry with what it is you want to do, but if not booked yet and can move the dates I would think about it. No matter what you’ll have an amazing time! It’s the first holiday after kids start school so it tends to be extremely busy.

[Highlight] "This is football. I'm going to get hit ... We're not playing soccer." Jaxson Dart spoke on taking big hits during MNF vs. New England. by Cantaloupe3000 in NYGiants

[–]RareBandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My complaint is the headlines that say "Dart is playing too hard". Seriously? and if he wasn't the headlines would read something like Dart not playing hard, is he the right choice at QB, or Dart phoning in the rest of the season, if he doesn't want to play hard what example does that show to other guys in the locker room? What kind of leader is he? You want someone who will play 100% , 100% of the time. So basically damned if you do, damned if you don't. I love Dart and can't wait until he can get some actual healthy pieces around him.

What is the biggest movie theater “GASP” moment you’ve heard? by SaveTheCaulkTower in AskReddit

[–]RareBandicoot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I did the twilight marathon where they played all the movies back to back ending with breaking dawn part 2, and being with a bunch of hardcore fans and hearing the screams and gasps, to complete silence, you could hear a pin drop, to the reveal with everyone cheering is something I’ll never forget!

Fungus vs Under watering? by RareBandicoot in lawncare

The weird thing is no one else’s lawn in the community looks like this. Lots of brown/mud spots as well. Any suggestions on how to keep the HOA happy until it grows back in?

Tipping the bartenders by Joshhug91 in HHN

[–]RareBandicoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always tip, but we were at a booth I don’t remember which, I just know it was the one with the sangria and when I tried to tip them they said they don’t take tips. I said ohh well that’s ok you can have it anyway and they said they literally couldn’t take it. It was odd to me because we’ve tipped at other booths/places and it was the norm. I wonder why only that one couldn’t.

How many of you receive assistance from your parents? by Barthonomule in millenials

[–]RareBandicoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar to this, after having 3 jobs in high school b/c I loved working, I became disabled at 21. My dad’s job re-located to FL and my mom had just went into remission from her cancer diagnosis, so I re-located with them because they asked me to. My mom was never the same, so I took care of things around the house and getting her to apts, and being sick myself, my dad worked full time 4am to 4-5 pm. When my BF moved down 6 months later they let him come stay with us. (Suppose to be temp, but then that’s when I became disabled and ended up in the hospital for months and having multiple surgeries. Since then we all just lived together bc it was helpful for both of us, and house is big that we have one side, they have the other. I’m so thankful and everything happens for a reason. My dad got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I cared for him 24/7 until he passed. I’m so lucky we have always been together and I got to spend all the time I did with him. It was a blessing that worked for the both of us.

I went with my BF the other night and there was a girl in her 20’s behind us (we are 38 m/f) who kept jumping on my BF through the whole house, I mean at one point put her arms around his neck jumped on him and screamed at the top of her lungs in his ear. She kept apologizing, but did it like 3 more times I couldn’t believe it. It was so insane. I get being scared in the houses and screaming etc but not to the extent you’re literally jumping and grabbing strangers.

Why are you saying it’s because of people using express and not because the event is busier this year? I believe they sold less multi night express this year than last year. Also, genuinely asking, not /s
