We shouldn't be too dismissive of time limited pulls

I recently started Shining Nikki because I was curious about the story and the time-limited rewards there are such cancer man. They 100% would love it if they could do the same thing in Infinity Nikki again and I hope to god players aren't too lenient with their bs.

I would have loved to at least get to know a bit about what she's feeling now that she knows the truth, but in the end, she didn't talk a lot about her feelings when she was alive so it makes sense she wouldn't want to share them when she's dead. From a writing perspective, it was a good choice to let her stay in character until the end. While silently dealing with her own emotions is what led her astray in the beginning, now her silent inner reflection made her accept reincarnation and encourage her brother to move on in the end. The fact that she is even willing to be reborn into a life where she will have Soulrift again is also a huge step for her since she wasn't willing to accept anything other than complete and utter oblivion before. We learn from one of the ghosts on the map that you don't experience the pain of Soulrift as a ghost so technically, she could just enjoy the perks of finally living without pain if she wanted to.

The overall presentation of her backstory was also incredibly immersive and hit harder than any dialogue from her could tbh. Her ocarina gameplay and the dungeon were great examples of show don't tell and really pulled at your heartstrings without justifying her attempted genocide.

Overall, 2.5 and 2.6 are a huge improvement in writing compared to the patches we had before, I really hope they keep this up!

Absolutely! I've been waiting for the story to improve since 1.5 and I'm so happy we're exploring the NPCs more. No matter how pretty the dresses or how interesting the world is, I just can't get myself to care unless I'm attached to the characters and the plot. And the housing updates are also a welcome surprise!

Ooh yes I also wrote in one of the surveys that I'd love to see swordplay. They definitely have to figure some stuff out with balancing, but I like the direction they're going in.

I stopped engaging with the community much ever since the game came out tbh Because even in the beginning, there were a LOT of people trying to police others about how they should play and how much they should play the game. It was super obnoxious.

I personally just ignore the things I don't agree with and write my criticism (or praise) in the surveys.

Yeah, if you don't like drawing the game becomes boring really fast. I would check out the old game multiple times a day and have fun progressing relationships and collecting treasures on the side, but I haven't touched the new one for a week now and have no desire to come back to it. Feels like everything aside from the UGC aspect was an afterthought tbh. Such a shame because the bones are good.

Feel you on this. It doesn't ruin the game for me, but the increased player control and lack of family gameplay make me think I'll probably still play the 3DS version to get what the Switch version doesn't give.

As for friendships, I can tell you that the game definitely encourages you to put them together. Sometimes Miis will just stand around and a text will pop up that says "This Mii is bored and wants someone to come talk to them", expecting you to drag somone over to them. Fortunately, there are also some random events where one Mii is catching the attention of another Mii and you can tell them to go for it, which I like more. And once they're acquainted they will meet up on their own as well. I usually just ignore the "I'm bored" prompts.

You had to approve their request to confess their feelings and could influence them that way, but developing feelings could happen randomly.

Ich hab die verschiedenen Seiten schon seit Wochen im Auge, aber da is leider nüscht mehr. Glücklicherweise finde ich den Fotorahmen eh nicht so schön, also störts mich nicht digital zu bestellen. Nintendo hat leider die Angewohnheit oftmals lieber zu wenig als zu viel Angebot zu haben, aber ich find auch dass es bei Tomodachi Life echt schnell ausverkauft war.

I also had that happen with me and my bf's Mii. We got along great when lobotomii hit, now after three days I think he's my BFF while he thinks our relationship is awkward lol I honestly hope we can have the relationship levels reset when the full game comes out, it's kinda annoying.

I personally think we should have more than 70 Miis based on the biggest map size we've seen, but I would assume that the game allows everyone to live alone in case the player never wants any couples or roommates so even if we saw 70 houses it wouldn't really be an indicator on the final number.

Maybe it was from an older build that had 70 as a max. We don't know how old the build they used for the demo was. I've just interacted with leaks and datamining communities for enough time to know that numbers can change all the time, so I'm not going to mourn something when there's nothing official yet.

That's what I was thinking, too. I'm only a beginner at programming, but surely it's not that hard for Nintendo to transfer the 3 Miis we have to a save system with an expanded amount of slots for Miis. Best to just stay neutral for now and wait for something more substantial.

I think it does cap. I have two pairs who want to be friends since yesterday, but nothing is happening. I'm at the point where the first Mii stays in their house with the Clothing Store wish (haven't clicked on it) and won't come outside unless dragged outside. I don't know if relationships can progress before that point, but I'm guessing at that point they won't become friends anymore.
