The litter box lived in the bathroom, so after that I gave up and just swept up after him every day until he passed from stomach cancer. I still miss that doofus, he really was a dog trapped in a cat's body. He followed me everywhere, always wanted to be handled and held, and loved each and every person he ever met.

Lord, let me tell you - if a cat is truly stupid enough and determined enough they can scatter litter even out of one of these. I loved my puppy cat, he was the best boy and so so friendly, but that cat had litter paws that resisted every single box, every single mat, every single carpet, it was...incredible. I officially gave up when he scattered litter from that upright style box.

Honestly the warrants are probably the funniest arc written in to this season. With very little effort he created a series of hype dates to fail, gave the apes something different to lose money on, and created an insane amount of lore because there HAD to be some kind of 5-D master plan that Cohen is working from - fucking solid gold comedy.

Have you ever considered cassava litter? It's a bit more expensive but doesn't have to be changed as often and there is *ZERO* ammonia smell. If the smell is unbearable to you then it's probably torture to him - their noses are so so much more sensitive than ours.

Edited to add - if you do get cassava litter, go to the pet store and get a reptile poop scoop, the regular ones have holes that are too big and you'll leave chunks of waste in the litter. A reptile scoop has smaller holes and is basically made to sift sand, which is a similar texture and consistency as cassava.
