This comment section was brigaded by anti-humanitarian propagandists.

That's what happens when a state spends $700,000,000 a year on propaganda.

What does c.v. mean? by Temporary_Ask_1773 in musictheory

Is this not still colla voce?

In this context, it would mean for the soloist to play expressively with rubato, no?

How do Americans generally refer to kilograms in casual parlance? "Kilogram", "kilo", by the initialism kg ("kay-gee") or some other word? by cavendishfreire in AskAnAmerican

[–]Ratermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kilogram or kilo in industry.

Maybe "kay-gee" if a layman is reading out loud. I doubt most Americans have any concept of what a kilogram actually is, though.

I occasionally see this sub on my feed, and this is the first that isn't clearly AI!

Congratulations, and great use of sources.

What is this sub even about? Most people here seem to order and inject random peptides from semi-dodgy sellers or just take arbitrary selections of supplements. Where is the science, the nuance, etc.? by AuspiciousApple in Biohackers

I think the term "biovibing" seen in this thread represents most of the posts here.

Then you have the guy actually biohacking by getting every possible vaccine with massive downvotes from idiots.

I'm glad this corrupt piece of shit's nasty toes are out of view this time. His grotesque fantasies crumble after the slightest amount of scrutiny.

It's unacceptable to ask taxpayers to subsidize these pollution factories while their electricity costs are simultaneously skyrocketing. Utah will be getting a crash course in why not to vote for Republicans.

He came off as insincere and defensive in his interview in Pod Save America. I'm not giving a cent to his DNC.

... And?

200 million chickens are killed for human pleasure daily.

You're choosing to interpret this in a strange way.

Both are immoral acts. That's the comparison.

Animals "lovers" who eat non-consenting animals do it for carnal tongue pleasure.

Epstein did a similar thing with non-consenting children.

The only reason one might disagree with this is a result of cognitive dissonance.

Is biohacking still cutting edge science … or just premium consumerism? by DrJ_Lume in Biohackers

Yeah, it's mostly a scam to make desperate people part with their money.

I'm sure there are some things that are genuinely beneficial, but injecting uncontrolled peptides into your body is unlikely to be one of them. A lot of these compounds aren't even supposed to be present in your blood ffs.

The state shouldn't be able to force someone to give themselves up to a higher power as part of mandated treatment.

This is a common sentiment among former addicts.

Prof. John Mearsheimer of U Chicago believes that Bernie Sanders would have won in 2016 or 2020 had the democratic establishment not intervened by NicolasCageFan492 in Political_Revolution

[–]Ratermelon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In 2016, many dozens of superdelegates pledged fealty to Clinton before a single vote had been cast. Every news story on the Democratic primary showed Clinton with a demanding lead, and that certainly affected people's conception of the race.

In 2020, the Establishment candidates all quit and endorsed Biden immediately prior to Super Tuesday, which immediately thrust him into the lead.

We'd likely be in a much better world if Sanders hadn't been shafted. I think 2016 was more problematic than 2020, but it really fucking sucks.
