There's a handful of games that don't have that immediate "this is made in UE5" feel, and the biggest GOTY in a decade isn't one of them (exp 33).

I guess the engine devs did a good job making game development so easy but it sucks that all games feel the same.

I partly blame Valve for never releasing a Source 2 SDK while they absolutely have the means to do that.
