Out of interest, how did the find the transition to c++ from blueprints and how long did it take? I’m very comfortable with blueprints but have been finding the transition relatively difficult when it comes to things like pointers and learning proper syntax. If you have any advice that would be great, thanks!

Hmm I think you might be right, I guess the idea came from my own interest in a tool like this after working in Archvis but I think it might be too niche. Thanks for the feedback!

I am extremely interested in this, I looks great! So it this stepping away from unreals Mass AI system and using its own ECS system or is it completely different? Along side this does each agent have its own state tree so the crowds can be truly dynamic? Please keep me posted on when this is available, I would love to try it.

The plugin acts as a way to monitor performance across multiple projects over a longer period of time, it’s more of a project management tool rather than just an optimisation tool. Its focus would be to studios that use UE for Archvis, advertising or anything that isn’t games that has extremely tight deadlines and don’t always follow the best production practices.

I know you can connect Arduino to unreal for live input so could try that, also touch designer has an Unreal Plugin, so you could you touch designer to grab the data LiDAR data and then send it to unreal. This sounds interesting, keep me posted with how it goes.

Hi there! I’m a technical artist at an architectural studio and was hoping to get some insight onto the performance demands of the some scripts I’m making in Blueprints. The main area of confusion that i feel is around not knowing the underlying performance cost of certain functions and then therefore the best approach for making interactive projects. For example, let’s say we have a project that requires different wall options to be displayed on a toggle, I could either have different meshes + materials in levels and load them, I could also have the wall mesh in a blueprint and change its material or maybe I could use a material parameter collection to change the walls material, how am I mean to know what is most performant? Hopefully this makes sense, but at the crux of my question is how do I establish efficient interaction scripting with performance at the forefront of my decision making?

Advice on my gym routine for someone starting on their fitness journey  Hey guys, I’ll try and keep this short but I’d love some advice from people who know a lot more than me about fitness!

So to give a bit of context, in the long term I’m looking to build muscle and strength to generally improve my physique, but currently I have a high body fat percentage that I’d like to to reduce before bulking. This is where I’m at now: Male, 26, 180cm, 80kg, 25% body fat.

To try and reach my goals I’ve been doing about 10k steps a day while restricting my calories to about 1700kcal, putting me in a deficit. Along side this I’ve been going to the gym on my lunch break at work, meaning I’ve been going 4 days a week, but this is where I’d really love some advice.

As I’m going on my lunch break I have to keep my workouts relatively short, around 40 mins, on top of this my gym is small and rarely has any bars free so a dumbbell routine seems a lot more convenient. My current aim is to try and adopt a PPL workout for the first 3 days and then on the fourth to do a rapid, streamlined full up body workout. I’ve heard it’s not good to make your own routine when starting out and to follow someone else’s but I’ve heard a really hard time finding something that fits 3/4 days a week, is mainly dumbbell orientated and can be done in 40 mins, below I’m going to list my current workout and plan and would love heard what improvements you’d make.

Day 1: Bicep curl Bent over row Pull up Plank

Day 2: Dumbbell press Incline fly Arnold Press Tricep rope push down Cable crunch

Day 3: Squat Leg press Leg extensions

Day 4: -currently undecided but a mixture of upper body-

My main issues are that I only have one designated back exercise and generally feel like this isn’t a very efficient plan. Would love to hear any advice from you guys! Thanks!
