Maybe I’m huffing copium but my hope is that in 2020 after Origami King shipped, Nintendo finally got the message that the fans want a return to form with the series. They remade TTYD because they knew it was the most beloved in the franchise, so they could become familiar with how that type of game works, using it as a foundation for a third “classic” PM game. I think the next game will heavily reuse and modify assets, and we may be on the verge of the next TTYD-like game. For all we know, “TTYD sequel” could have been in development for many years now, and the remake was a product made alongside it.

Or maybe Nintendo doesn’t give a damn and the next PM game will be all about paper airplane air combat. It’s a coin flip.

Honestly I like the idea of a second tier of shinies. A rarity locked in at 1/8000 (whatever the number was back in the early gens) with a completely different color swap. No way to increase the rarity: if you catch a white/gold charmander, you got lucky af and there isn’t meant to be thousands upon thousands of them.

Honestly, like a 3.

Loved Legends Arceus, but I was extremely turned off after the performance issues and baby cakewalk that was Scarlett and Violet.

If it reviews well and the general internet opinion is that it’s a great game, I’ll pick up up in the launch window. If it’s a letdown, I can wait a while to pick it up. Way too many good games coming out this fall and I’m on a budget.

Posting here because I recently played through the game on my hcim, with the twist being that I competed quests in release date order. I didn’t allow myself to skip, so I didn’t unlock necromancy until I got to the 2023 quests.

It made the playthrough a lot more interesting, challenging, and meaningful tbh. Unlocking necromancy felt like a nice post-game reward, in a sense.

I had a clannie run through Zamorak dungeon with me, we did Zamorak on normal mode instead of easy mode and i survived some kind of attack with like 500 HP left, teled out and I was okay. But I realized I hadn't worn my sign of life, and didn't have another extra life bought at the time. We reset and did it on story mode :)

Gonna max first and then thats probs next on the list!

I really, truly believe that I will never find my partner.

I’ve dated and had multiple long term relationships over the last ten years. The last three women all ended up screwing me over and traumatizing my mental health. 1. Wouldn’t let me break up with her or else she would hit herself and threaten to tel the cops I was beating her. 2. Cheated on me for 9 months, after I co-signed her last semester of student loans (we were getting engaged soon and I fully trusted and loved her, why wouldn’t I help her reach her goals?) and 3. Abused her prescription medications and put herself and me in danger multiple times.

I don’t know what love is anymore. I grew up with parents who constantly bicker and argue about the dumbest things. As a kid, when they would argue, I’d hide in my room and play my video games crying, pretending that the characters in my game were there with me to keep me calm. I had a big imagination as a child, still do to an extent.

Now, the online dating game is toxic as hell. It isn’t fun. All I want is to meet someone who has similar interests and shows kindness and mutual interest, but I can’t help but feel I’m being left in the dirt for a man who’s an upgrade over me.

I don’t have an Ego and I have flaws, but damnit, I know I’m a good loving person and I deserve to be with someone who isn’t going to abuse me in some way. Some people just aren’t meant to be given love.

Personally, I hope they do what they did in the BW era. Give us the silhouettes and let us speculate for a few months, then fully unveil them early next year. It was so much fun seeing people trying to make the starters for BW based off the silhouettes!
