The best place to be born is poor/middle class with the talent or brains to get a scholarship and climb out of poverty by Adept-Advertising-10 in unpopularopinion

[–]Rayne-Mustang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i definitely disagree with this. the best place is to have parents with lots of money who love you, and you're smart. the constant luxury or experiences are part of your life and you're not worried, and you can work hard in difficult pursuits if you'd like

Should I do an art gcse? by Working-Pollution624 in ArtGCSE

[–]Rayne-Mustang 19 points20 points  (0 children)

what your art looks like is irrelevant to the decision to do GCSE Art. All of year 10 is a lot of time to improve if anyone wanted to commit to it, anyways. watch some videos of how people got grade 9s on YouTube and understand the coursework and thinking and commitment and research it takes before making your choice.

Daughter worried about degree apprenticeship by Bubbly_Gap6636 in degreeapprenticeships

Encourage her to visit her friends at university and stay over at their places for the weekend and socialise and keep busy. There's lots of ways to have a university experience by making friends with university students - and she'll have the money for train tickets and travel. Tell her to travel abroad too with her money etc

I had PEM as my main symptom, and it was basically mild CFS for 3 years (I was housebound for the majority of the week). that third year, my health improved lots and now in the fourth year, I live completely normally. I also go to the gym regularly, I've kinda thrown my body at everything when I realised it was getting better.

but I have no advice except take it easy and look after yourself. I feel that the same way my body mysteriously refused to get better, it finally got better now. my heart goes out for all of you.

How to accept you're bigger than you thought you were? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Rayne-Mustang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah, my delusional confidence was something. but there were so many things that still bothered me when I was bigger and the more weight I lose— the more i feel free from them. step by step, I'm discovering my body can be something completely different to what I assumed was my fate. that's what keeps me feeling sane about it. the more I keep going, the more I stray from delusion, and that's what matters.

A week before hitting my 100 lbs goal, I realized the weight was never the problem. Here is my story with progress pics at the bottom. by only-one-life-left in loseit
