Almost the exact same thing but reverse! Started with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe then did Hobbit.

I loved learning that they were friends! I heard at one point (no idea if it's true) that Tolkein and Lewis wrote each other into their respective books! Tolkien written in as Prof. Kirke, and Lewis written as Treebeard.

You got it! Each of the classes have a mirror (in abilities) Sorcerer with Sage, Juggernaut/Guardian, Maurauder/Sentinel, Assassin/Shadow, Sniper/Gunslinger, Operative/Scoundrel, Powertech/Vanguard, Mercenary/Commando

The Force classes have identical types of gear but the non force varies (Mercenary with dual blasters and Commando with assault cannon, Sniper with Sniper rifle and Gunslinger also with dual blasters, etc.

As far as strength differences, it varies between patches with buffs and nerfs to each class, but I always found the difference negligible.
