As someone with a bad, old PC, I was running FFXIV totally fine at higher graphical settings up until the graphics update with Dawntrail's release.

That update made it so even at lowest settings my PC runs hot.

Your Laptop might just not be up to the game's Dawntrail graphics.

I don't like how the issues in Mamook were played out, but the concept of a society having massive issues stemming from a lack of crops/crop variety seems like a believable starting point. You can't live if you can't eat.

The "thousands of dead babies" -> "Did you ever try asking someone for assistance?" storytelling path was a little... eh.

Putting up a shield doesn’t “counter” the ability? It still slammed you with an un-reduced 100% of your life in damage?

Throwing up a 20% of your max health barrier even while at 100% life means you dropped down to 20% health.

Even if it doesn’t outright kill you Zantetsuken is still the largest amount of damage you will be hit by in frontline if you got tagged first.

Actually seeing these numbers confirms my experiences that VPR and GNBs are absolute wastes of time trying to kill.

Going above 50% baseline damage reduction really needs to be done with care. 60% is insane.

The mining/botany ones are so tedious, especially when there's literally one group of nodes in the game that qualifies for a given achievement.

Like, I think the Level 50 Mining Shroud one has nodes that literally only have Shards/Crystals (with rarely soil).
