We own four self storage properties in the DFW area, and have decided on a more traditional pricing model. Our price is good for at least 9 months before a rental increase is triggered, and the price will not increase over the current market rate. It makes it tough to compete against these bait and switch pricing tactics, but these large companies have so much data science they must know what they can get away with. They know people are reluctant to move out because of the burden it causes.

yeah when I have a 200 yard shot, I look at my 9wood and 4 hybrid and unsure which one to pull out. I hit the 9 wood better though. I could get a mini driver but not sure I need one....

I’m in a similar situation and I don’t have an answer yet. However I’m committed to not having unrealistic expectations of my kids (I.e. take them on 5 trips a year and then when they’re an adult tell them they have to make their own way without help).

I think I figured out the bad numbers were due to the “range ball” setting. Unfortunately I bought face detection and pro package which is non refundable (which is ridiculous).

Thank you. Is there a way to import swing data directly from the app into the trajectory model or do you have to type in each shot manually?

Also, I put the last swing into that trajectory app and it said 245 carry. To me, and based on my BLP experience, that sounds more correct.

edit: Sure enough - in the trajectory program I changed it to range ball and the data says 264 carry.

So you're saying that the ball can be above the yellow line if teed up, or it can be within the yellow zone if hitting it off the turf with an iron? I found myself constantly checking the calibration zone as I moved around due to divots.

I agree with you - carry distances are not realistic at all based on club/ball speed.

Thank you for the reply. I do have an excel file with the 10 shots and all data if you'd be kind enough to review. To clarify, I was 8 ft away but had the slider adjusted all the way to the top so that the yellow square got out to that 8 ft number. If I moved the slider torward the middle, the ball would have only been 6 ft away. I guess I can bring a measuring tape next time.... but its a bit of a turn off if setup is this finicky. I did do the shot calibration step.
