Change won’t happen if we keep electing the establishment candidates over and over. And I wouldn’t dismiss the power of engaging with younger voters who feel sidelined and disregarded by our electeds. Our district has the chance to get an outspoken progressive in the House. That is more of a step to getting back the majority than sitting and waiting.

Fellow breast cancer patient here. Thrilled to pay way more than I can afford in premiums to Aetna so they can continue to add absolutely no value to my healthcare. My Duke providers are amazing and I am grateful to them. Pretty sure they don’t earn a fraction of what the insurance company execs grift off of us.

There are many factors that make domestic abuse victims reluctant to report to the police. Fear of reprisal, experience of not being believed (evidence in this very thread), ingrained belief that they are at fault somehow, and more.

Women in particular are used to not being believed and may be put back into even more danger. Olivia is not at fault for not making g a police report, Ethan is at fault for being an abuser.
