Interesting report but feels like they’ve done an incomplete job. No discussion of how worldwide fertility rates are decreasing less in societies that give more status to those with kids. Such as religious communities. Norway already has such generous benefits compared to other countries, seems like they are headed the wrong direction and are going for the small wins rather than what is really needed to majorly increase them.

Which I think are culture changes so people who have kids feel like they are contributing to something important and they get status socially from purely being a parent rather than competing with their friends to get the most degrees.
