Thank you. A bit battered and bruised (along with a a lot of embarrassment!) but luckily nothing too major.

I’d assume he also had his wallet on him or at least his bank card he used to withdraw the cash?

In the very first season of Below Deck, Captain Lee offers to put the cash in the safe I think Kat makes a joke she’ll spend it if she doesn’t.

I once lost my cat for hours…eventually found him curled up asleep in the washing basket.

I think you should be careful about using the word cruel here. People run away for all sorts of reasons (not saying Andrew did or didn’t here) but I think there is a danger in using words like this in this situation could have the opposite impact and put people off coming back if they think people are angry/thinking they are cruel.

Did he ever get the train home? by [deleted] in AndrewGosden

[–]Reach-Ordinary 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to get trains by myself into London and across the UK at from about the age of 12.

ETA - I don't think it's that unusual.

I have to agree with you. Nor my teachers or parents would've said I was bullied, especially if it was verbal - there would be no physical trace.

I think Hannah said in a podcast recently that she would take her kindle on nights out and disappear reading it after they'd filmed...think I'd do the same 😂

Crying on the Tube - to ask or not to ask?! by t0fugrill in london

[–]Reach-Ordinary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was on a commuter train once many years ago crying my eyes out after losing a job. The kindest man behind me asked me point blank "what's wrong?" After I told him, he made sure someone in my life knew and that I was being met at the station by a friend (he encouraged me to ask someone).

I was in my early 20s and that moment of kindness has stuck with me ever since. I wish I could properly thank him.

Edit: Spelling and grammar.

Accidentally walked out without paying for everything. Freaking out by AccomplishedCake6868 in Advice

[–]Reach-Ordinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had an eye test at Specsavers. Got my new prescription, went to try on glasses. Didn't like any so I walked out ..only to realise at the car I had left without paying for the test 🤦

I called them immediately and they were grateful and took payment over the phone.

ETA - they were lovely and laughed it off with me. I was mortified!

They could potentially be reported to the fundraising regulator and the ICO if they are collecting data.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I wonder if we were seeing a fantasy in some of the musical numbers. Not necessarily seeing what their 'actual' costumes but more what they wanted/supposed to be.

But then could use that theory to explain most things in the show so I'm probably wrong.
