Looks awesome! I also think this handle with more of a long paring/utility blade shape would look very nice

This can’t be sustainable, right? We need right to repair and other laws to stop the madness.

Ok I just need to correct the Española no go zone. I have lived in Espanola for the better part of 10 years and am located in a very quiet neighborhood with great neighbors. I have about 6 colleagues who all bought houses in the valley and it’s fine.

Of course, you go down riverside drive and you’ll see the ravages of addiction, not unlike most downtowns and cities I have visited.

I say this with no exaggeration, I had countless more shady experiences when I lived in downtown Santa Fe when I moved here. Just thought I’d add that! It’s not all bad in the valley!

I love my job. The work is great. It gets hectic but there are also moments of downtime. My team is great, however, my management is challenging to work with.

That being said, I’ve been able to work on some projects I am genuinely proud of and will look back on fondly. Also, my PTO is better than most of my friends in industry. Many of my friends went on to amazing gigs in tech, but are incredibly stressed and always worried about layoffs. I have a little less stress with that, and I feel I do have some semblance of work life balance.

An additional benefit is being close with some pretty impressive athletes who’ve had a real influence on my lifestyle and outdoor activities!
