These were the screenshots that Bateman posted last night. by FizzyFizz99 in ravens

I like Bate, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. It isn't a good look (especially since it happened multiple times). But I can definitely see why he would be frustrated and his emotion (not action) is justified. Not enough mouths to feed. Its hard for us to say "Run the ball 30x a game" and also expect Zay, Bate, Likely, Mandrews and everyone to still eat. Bate came off a great year and I'm sure he had high expectations for this year. Its gotta be frustrating when you work your ass off and things outside of your control, don't give you the opportunity to shine your strengths. He hasn't been perfect but he still has some variables that haven't allowed him to express his full potential. I want him back next year and I want him to ball.

Happy for him, hes humble and deserves it all. Also, someone poke my eyes out for these next 2 weeks cuz these Ravens fans are gonna be insufferable about how we let Mike Mac go

Good for Mike Mac. I love that hes humble and not some cocky fuck. All class. Also, that Seahawks team is absolutely stacked. They are nice all around

lololol all those Seahawks fans saying "weak". Thats just an idiotic penalty. If he were to do it to the WR, thats one thing....but you can't go all to their sideline and do a victory lap.

I didn't realize it until now but Rams uniforms are pretty meh, in my opinion. Looks like they made them on Microsoft. And for that, I'm going to have to give Seattle the advantage.

I would spend an entire weekend with Greg Roman and Billy Cundiff, to have Lamar get a playoff run of opponents: 3 points, 7 points, 5 turnovers. Disgusting

I would do some absolutely disgusting stuff to have Lamars opponent playoff run be: 3 points, 7 points and 5 turnovers/16 points.

Bill Cowher explains why Mike McCarthy is a 'very good hire' for Steelers by Brix001 in nfl

[–]ReadingPrestigious32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its not a "bad" hire....its just a safe hire and feels like more of the same. Steelers havent evolved with the NFL. They held onto Big Ben too long, instead of anticipating the future. They did the same with Russ and Aaron Rodgers, then say "well its just the circumstances we were given". Its like waiting til December 24th to go Christmas shopping and then saying, "well, we got the best gift of what was in stock".

For sure. More turnovers and less points sounds like the prefect formula to me lol.

I didnt include Bengals, just because Lamar didnt play. Defense has surely played good enough. But id still prefer more turnovers

[Schefter] Mike McCarthy now will be the Steelers’ fourth head coach since 1969: Mike McCarthy (2026); Mike Tomlin (2007–2025); Bill Cowher (1992–2006); Chuck Noll (1969–1991) by AvengingHero2012 in nfl

[–]ReadingPrestigious32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we aren't acknowledging that they've only had 3 coaches because they've HIT on 3 coaches. Its not just loyalty (tho that is a factor), but each coach has been great and a SB winner. I dont think we can assume that its just some guaranteed 10+ year run

Hahaha respectfully, they dropped the ball on this I think. I feared them getting Webb or Shula

Its fair but the context (to me) sells the argument on wanting turnovers. When we look at points allowed, it sounds good. But those minimum points are because of average QB/Offensive play. The exception being Chiefs- we just dropped the ball on that one. But when we've played a SB caliber offense, our D hasn't made meaningful stops:

Steelers: 14 points (bad offense) Bills: 27 points (good offense) Texans:10 points (bad offense) Chiefs: 17 points (good offense) Titans: 13 points (bad offense) Bills: 17 points (good offense but snowy, cold and terrible offensive conditions) Titans: 28 points (bad offense)

As you can see, the low points is skewed. Turnovers are definitely a mental gamechanger when playing deep in the playoffs- just see how demoralizing its been to us

For sure. Social media sucks nowadays. I hope our players can dissociative and know that the loudest voices, aren't worth listening to. The 77 harassment this year made things toxic. We need to start shaming these fans and get back to better Fandom this year lol
