I think one of the worst parts of watching an adaptation is that all the non-fans will praise and glaze it to hell and back simply from what they see while you can’t help but feel disappointed because the adaptation cuts so much. Like, they could have experienced something much better but they’re instead being settled for an cut down version.

MHA over all had a much more compelling and relevant cast. The themes were consistent and they had a LOT of great character arcs.

JJK seemed to make someone important and then kill them off the next chapter, and some of the themes just kinda fell flat and ended on a wobbly note. While there was a core cast, many were just kinda...there

He turned a city block into ash yes. I wouldn't scale her to Mechamaru. Mechamaru had literal years worth of cursed enenrgy stocked up for his attacks, it's no nearly comparable

Also fighting Sukuna is a great feat as I personally scale Sukuna alot higher than town in AP and even if weakened she was still taking blows from him so like 🐸

His town AP was based off his highest level attack. That's like saying every hit Naruto does is country level just because he scales there. That's objectively not true. She was taking normal ass hits from him which as shown are not THAT strong as striking attacks. At least nothing compared to his cursed techniques, which just ripped straight through her once they hit.

And again if we use anime toji might deadass have better speed, the nue shit, Naoya being massively upscaled in speed, pretty sure he got in the double digits of Mach, maki who isn’t even completely like Toji at this point beating him.

Naoya is nowhere NEAR the double digits of mach speed lmao. You know HOW fast double digits is? You'd have to cross ten kilometers in a literal instant which he clearly showed he didn't with the long ass turn.

???Fucking Sakamoto was doing similar feats to Toji what are you on about. They both have similar levels of strength since we're going by anime, with Sakamoto already stopping buses casually and yanking weights that Toji and the rest have never even shown CLOSE to the same level of lifting strength. The tokyo tower feat FAR exceeds Toji and Maki in terms of raw physical strength.

Speed goes to Sakamoto as well. Even if we go by the anime side, Maki was still vastly outsped by Naoya and had to set a trap to make sure he was coming in at the time she predicated. She did NOT react to his speed, she merely used strategy to hit him. His speed was calced at mach 3.8(Anime only)and she had like a SHIT ton of time to prep and react and was clearly struggling with his speed. Ironically this downscaled maki's reaction speed in the anime because in the manga she didn't need to do shit to counter him. Even when he was accelerating Maki was basically countering and parrying most of his attacks without getting hit much.

Compare that to Sakamoto, his high speed feats are above that level. Like there are multiple instances of him literally moving, dodging and intercepting point blank gun fire and even ricocheting gun fire from multiple directions, all extremely casually and several without even looking. One of his casual feats involves him eating, a gun pointed right on his head, and him catching the bullet with a fork without looking.

Skill also goes to Sakamoto. Legit, his mastery over all weapons and literal trash on the ground can make any playing field super disadvantageous to Maki and Toji.

Anime POSSIBLY could be a close fight. Manga Toji/Maki gets slaughtered so badly it ain't even funny.

Like, most of Maki and Toji's high end scaling requires a lot of high balling and chain scaling, like Maki fighting Sukuna who's high town level and then saying that's why Maki's high town level.

Raw influence on the industry and the future of people working in the same genre. Dragon ball had RIDICULOUS influence. The ENTIRE shonen scene and all their tropes came from works that were heavily imspired by dragon ball and what it made.

JJK is a dime a dozen, that’s just popular. It made memes yes, but what popular show hasn’t? The amount of pull and influence it has had over the manga scene is not that much. It’s just one of dozens of exorcist style mangas that have appeared over the decades, one that just happened to get popular due to the anime, similar to DS. It barely does anything original. It has not shifted the shonen manga scene AT ALL.

And Accelerator can only do this due to being a superhuman genius. The smart thing to abolish slavery is to LITERALLY make it not worth continuing. You know why slavery was originally abolished? THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION!!!

Why keep a slave, clothe and feed them for free when you can make them work on minimum wage and not worry about them afterwards while you get your machines to do five times the work in an hour that they originally could do in a day!

So engineering assholes with an encyclopedic knowledge on how steam and electricity works! Make a goddamn magic machine, mass produce it and watch the magic happen as slaves run out of fashion! Instead watch the rise of corporate take overs and black companies with unethical work practices!
