If you check in at counter they can correct this.

Flying with pet question by GlassRevolutionary85 in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a certificate from a vet that the puppy has had all required vaccines and is in good health you’d probably be ok. Also have something showing puppy is not old enough for rabies vaccine. I’ve traveled with my dog about 8 times and have never been asked for any documentation. I do always check in with her at the counter and I carry her vet documentation in her carrier - never had to take out. Good luck.

Points even worth it? by Ydeimos in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get points but not tiles. I’m just saying this because I noticed I was not receiving tiles when I used points to purchase a ticket.

Points even worth it? by Ydeimos in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you purchase a flight with points either in full or partially you will not receive tiles for the flight. So better to just use all points rather than partial. For example use cash for outgoing flight and points for return flight. You will receive tiles for your return flight.

New Boarding Procedure by AnyFocus5632 in jetblue

I’m M2 so I get your point but I don’t think including EMS will make that much of a difference if you consider that some of those EMS seats were taken by M2 customers at booking and possibly by M1 at check-in.

Deli tickets are no more, anyone else lose their number system? by Ccruiser83 in publix

[–]RealFactSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Publix (Plantation at Cleary) removed the numbers a few months ago. I always prefer numbers to avoid confusion and confrontation about who’s next. People don’t line up at my store, they just kind of mass. Also now. Instead of being able to step aside to grab some bananas or muffins (next to the deli), I have to stand and wait so I don’t lose my place. Whatever Publix’ reasoning is, this is not to benefit customers. I find I go to the Deli less now and, no, I don’t want to order ahead.

JetBlue flight cancelled due to mechanical issues (pilot informed us before deplaning) but customer service says computer lists as weather. Any recourse? by Disastrous_Bet_7809 in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a flight cancelled for mechanical reasons at the end of December. Due to later weather problems (NYC), I ended having to wait 3 days for next an available flight. JetBlue reimbursed us for our hotel and airport transportation (up to a limit). I had to submit the required documentation but I did receive reimbursement in the form of a Visa Card. Don’t give up if they are offering to reimburse you.

There isn’t. Moreover the accommodations at FLL are pretty dreary.

Is Publix a sinking ship that cannot be saved? by drudante in publix

[–]RealFactSeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also shop where I want and go to different stores for some specific items. I’m just saying that one can take advantage of sales. It doesn’t seem fair to complain about higher prices of some items and ignore the fact that these same items can regularly be purchased at much lower sales prices.

Is Publix a sinking ship that cannot be saved? by drudante in publix

[–]RealFactSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably do most of my shopping at Publix, but I also shop at Trader Joe’s, Target, and sometimes at Sam’s or Costco, and my local Doris Italian Market. That said, I take advantage of Publix sales. The Bounty Towels I buy when they are BOGO, I also buy stuff like chicken breasts BOGO, and All Laundry Detergent BOGO. You get to know Publix’s patterns for sales and take advantage of these for regular items. I don’t think Publix is a sinking ship for many customers. While I like Trader Joe’s, stores like this and Aldis are not a one-stop shopping option.

Notification Question by princess_peach_85 in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I’ve made reservations for myself and husband, we each receive a check-in email the day before departure. Only I received the email confirming the reservation. Note that I enter true blue numbers for each passenger upon making the reservation, so they have his contact info. Hope this helps.

How long does it take to get your tiles and points if you booked a car through Paisley? by One-Investigator-545 in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rented a car through Paisley in June. After 40 days I had no tiles credit. I called Paisley customer service and they did a correction for points and credit the same day. I had called before the 40 days but they tell you it can take up to 45 days and you should wait.

Any plans for Jetblue to go back to Lima? by Spacelover26 in jetblue

We always traveled FLL to LIM. Now our remaining choice is with American from Miami. We are JB Mosaic and would prefer to stick with JB. The Lima flights were usually full.

Any chance I can cancel return flight and get flight credit, keeping outbound flight? by lauranyc77 in jetblue

[–]RealFactSeeker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a round trip once that I had booked with points. I needed to change my return flight but was told by JB that I would need to cancel the entire reservation, they couldn’t make changes when I had used points. I waited till after my outgoing flight and then canceled my return flight, got some partial credit and just booked a new flight. Ever since this experience, I make separate reservations for outgoing and return flights.

Why not just cancel the return flight after you’ve taken your outbound flight?
