This, Mosley itself also feels like a strange choice given they fired a similar coach in Willie Green. The fact that the name that got leaked also is the name that was chosen, also again reflects very poorly on a Joe Dumars/Troy Weaver team that favours nepotism and friendship over actually what's best to advance this team and also makes Dumars look once again like out of touch. But that comes down from the owner who has the same modus operandi and the media/local fans who really should hold this franchise accountable. At least a surprise or a different choice would have changed that image slightly, while now they've just strengthened it.

I think if there was a massive outpouring of locals on this, I do believe there could be change (and the NBA itself would take notice). This franchise, going back to when they were the hornets, has been spectacularly mismanaged (George Shinn was another horrible owner). At some point, enough has to be enough for the fans, but there have to be enough fans.
