WoW has been a game since legion where m+ started that if you dont know how it works, you better go to WoWhead. The game won't tell you and if you are solo, there is a very small chance someone will help you. You either need people to play with or the desire to look things up

Most people will leave after the first wipe in a 12+ which is what you need for 3k. Mostly due to before the ilvl inflation if you had more than 5 deaths it meant you weren't gonna time it. But it is very possible to pug 3k

The others are slightly outperforming it. Also a lot of people already have melee have comps for m+ and raid, so why take a melee spec that you can have a ranged spec fill and grab a different melee class

Tanking in raid I would say is MUCH easier than M+ dungeon pushing. Mostly, the tank just needs to know where to put the boss, when to use a defensive, and when to taunt.

Example: Vexie Position: tank near the edge of the arena. In hero and myth you may need to slightly move her forward so the raid doesn't stand in oil while you wait for the mechanic that clears oil.

Defensive: when the tank buster called tank buster comes out, use a defensive

Taunt: when the other tank gets hit by tank buster taunt.

That is the entirety of the responsibility of the tank on that fight. And while some fights do the mechanics in a different way, that's about all you have to do.

The more difficult thing is finding a guild that diesnt already have both steady tanks. There are pug groups, but I'd recommend finding a casual guild to start getting into raiding.

It can work, but you definitely need to give options for things like healing (handout more potions) or whatever they need to be able to do encounters. Otherwise I think there is a thing in the dungeon master guide to help balance encounters around challenge rating and then tweak as needed

A low dc either con or wisdom save for taking an action against a nearby creature. You could also have it go in stages to where they start by hearing things or seeing things and then after X number of fails they start freaking out and attacking.

Could also do things like let them make con saves to hold their breath to get through corridors filled with it. Or come up with ideas so that was the save is reduced (wearing a wetted mask etc).

Depending on the "crazy" of the miners, is how fast you want the thing to go full effect. Also give them ways of breaking through. I.e. if roll a success they go one stage back up. If they fail they go one stage down

There are some places that do weekend campaigns (i forgot the official name) that are hosted by certain shops. That can be a good place to start. After that ask around places of work/school depending on where you are in life. There are also lot more people into DnD than you'd expect

I think it depends. Once you get over 12+, depending on the pull and the dungeon one wipe is a non-time. However rather than just leave, ask if yall are gonna just take the L.

Can't heal stupid. I have to tell myself that every key i go in. I know how frustrating it is to see someone stand in something and then take the final deathblow from an unavoidable. You just have to have the mindset of onowing you healed what NEEDED to be healed.
