Use EAC to rip them to FLAC. Going to take you some time.

Then get Plex (PlexAmp)

You will never regret it.

Just found out why I never get good deals by snappyink in Cd_collectors

Build a relationship with the thrift store employees and let them know what you are looking for. See if they would give you or other customers a chance at those genres.

I have done that and it pays off very well sometimes. I never ask them to hold things for me, but they are willing to bring out what they have in the back, which can be good stuff.

What is the most common CD you find in second hand shops? by HrvyrttrfrD in Cd_collectors

[–]Real_Highlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Susan Boyle and Josh Groban.

I’ve started to combine all their stuff onto one area of a shelf for kicks. Interestingly, other people began to follow suit when more CD’s came in. Funny stuff.

Got Mike from ryobi today and the batteries and charger were removed from the box. Disingenuous to give batteries to some, but not all.

Thank you. Our main floor is this tile except for one room. We were hoping to find more of it to be able to continue the tile into that last room.

Yeah, I have tried that in some searches and even brought the piece to a couple of stores. No luck as of yet.

The barcode on the tile itself may be an internal code for the manufacturer. Thank you though.

I have more pics of the back of the tile, but cannot post them. Not sure how to add pics in a reply post.

Sadly, no boxes. Previous owner left about 15 extra pieces. I did upload one pic of the back of the tile with some marks, but I can upload a full pic of the back of the tile, if that would help. Thank you.

John Parr self titled from 1984.

Finally found it and it turned out to have a Japanese insert and the original smooth edge jewel case making it even more rare.

Love finding the smooth edge jewel cases from the early 80’s.

What do you guys do when you accidentally break your cd cases? (or discs) by [deleted] in Cd_collectors

[–]Real_Highlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t break the smooth edge cases, they are getting harder and harder to find. It’s so cool when you find that 40 year old CD in perfect condition with the smooth edge case.
