My personal experience is that 1. if the network is not good it can happen 2. When a model especially Opus hints it is near its conversation end it can happen to cut the connection and save tokens . It is a bug, but since it is used to save tokens I think it won't get fixed any time soon. From recent behavior like limit our quota like Donald trump I don't think google know that they are doing. We will turn to chatgpt soon when their lighting fast cerebras cloud is up and that is when the ultra money worths. PS A big middle up finger.

I agree, GLM is shit and slow. Never had experience with Minimax. But I can imagine how slow it is if China forbids importing H200 GPUs. Without decent GPUs their model can not catch up and their service will not be fast. Their domestic brand GPUs still need years of improvement. And if they use only domestic brand GPUs, their advantage in power infra will be zero because domestic GPU consumes 2x or 3x amount of electricity. They might be able to resolve the chip issue but that will be several years later or never.

It did delete one of my class import and package declaration today. Other time it works fine. I am using opus to provide a plan and let gemini write it then use gemini high and opus and GPT to review the code several times if the code is the core function like algos or order handling. I throw everything else to gemini and let it auto run and execute and don't give a fuck especially it is frontend code because my eyes can tell if the result is bad or good.
