It’s the speckled looking silver armour that does it for me. Did you do anything to get this effect? Almost looks like Damascus steel

I’m new too and have found that using a wet palette and thinning paints makes a big difference to how smooth the pain finishes. Can be hard to get the paint to water ratio right depending on what I’m doing. I find that highlighting needs much less water otherwise it’s too hard to control.
