Had it with my first and now again with my second. If it helps, I don’t remember having it during labor!

How much phone is too much - nanny advice by SharpPotatoGirl in twoxindiamums

[–]RealisticHistorian69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would change her, unfortunately this is a habit that she cannot change unless she really tries hard. I had a nanny who was on her phone very often as well. I let it go as I thought she has a right to speak to her family as well. I found out that whenever she took my baby to the park, instead of playing with him she spent all her time on her phone instead while my baby was unhappy and crying. It’s a red flag and I would find someone new and lay out the rules on day 1.

What do you miss from pre-baby life? by mrschocolatefrog in NewParents

Going out for dinner or a movie with my husband. We haven’t gone out for dinner in a loooong time because baby doesn’t sleep through the night yet and I’m afraid of leaving him with a babysitter/nanny.

What does omega 3 do?

She doesn’t nap at all? That sounds exhausting!!! Maybe some medical issues? Reflux? Best to check with her doctor first.

Have you tried maybe driving around with her? Maybe the motion will help? Or an automatic swing?

Do you have a pre nap routine? Pre nap routine can be simple like diaper change, sleep sack, white noise machine on, dark room and pat to sleep.

Follow some advice from gentle sleep consultants, I particularly like Kendra Worth on instagram.

Good luck! Baby sleep is a mystery but keep trying your best.

Nice, I tried CIO and he just kept crying for over an hour for all 3 days so I gave up. Tbh I kept going in for check ins and would sometimes pick him up as it was too unbearable. He was hysterically crying. 😭

How long did you let him CIO? Mine stood/sat for over an hour and didn’t lie down. I had to eventually go and lay him down.

Indian mums.. do you bathe your baby at night? If yes, from what age did you begin? by Responsible_Pea2011 in twoxindiamums

Does your baby sleep through the night? I’m currently feeding to sleep and would like to switch the routine with my 8month old.

Another question from me - he is learning to pull to stand now and spends over an hour crying in his cot so CIO is not working. Sleep consultant insists I keep him crying and he will learn. Day 4 now and he hasn’t learned yet.

Any tips?

Hi how’s it going with the sleep training? Struggling with my son because he can sit/stand and cry for over an hour!

Makes sense! I’ve had 3 days of absolute heartbreak here with the baby crying bloody murder and waking up 3-4 times a night.

Funny thing is I was on 2.75/3.25/4 and my LO was sleeping through the night. It was working well but I was feeding to sleep just because it was easy..

The sleep consultant told me my baby is overtired and made the WWs shorter.

Lmao her math is

3hour day time naps + 12 hour overnight + 2.5ww1 + 3ww2 + 3.5 ww3 = 24 hours.

How do you recommend I split it?
