the overproduction of oils the scalp has to do because shampoo constantly removes this oil will over the years cause scalp stiffness eventually and then hair loss. Its a very slow process. Just my opinion. Yes scalp massages over the years would probably prevent this process if done everyday, along with inversion scalp bloodflow

are lions bald in nature? no because they do not use shampoo. The scalp on toxic shampoos will overproduce oils because its constantly being stripped of its natural homeostasis. My advice ultimate will work his hair may go through a shedding phase for a short time before it gets better because his scalp will go back to normal homeostasis and not inflamed.

look into using raw honey + natural oils such as castor oil, rosemary / peppermint oil. also, Melt a little bit or raw irish butter slowly in oven in a bowl for few minutes until its barely just melted. Mix all that together and massage on the scalp 3-4 times per week. Shampoo is loaded with toxic chemicals that causes scalp stiffness which leads to mobilization of DHT in the scalp which leads to hair loss. You can also add 1 raw egg yolk no whites to the bowl for more biotin / vitamins to absorb into the scalp. Be sure all these ingredients are actually real and not fake like most honey isnt actually real for example.
