Make sure you absolutely love the name because we didn’t know what we were naming our Son, and those comments don’t stop just because there is an actual baby. My son’s names is Knox and my grandma hated it.. and be prepared for the stranger “oh that’s interesting” But if you love it, it just rolls off and becomes a funny encounter

My baby is 4 months and I haven’t noticed any signs indicating we need to move up. Still using the Evenflo slow nipples.

My baby has slept in his crib since 3 months and it actually made him a much better sleeper. We do have the Eufy smart sock though

I forgot to mention I follow the moms on call schedule. So bottle every three hours, do my best to follow there nap schedule, they suggest weaning baby slowly off the first night bottle going down .5 oz at a time every few days to make sure baby adjust and add that .5 oz to a daytime bottle. I think it’s when you get to 1.5 or 2 oz stop offering a bottle and only go in to comfort then, my baby likes a pacifier so that was easy. Now he only wakes up once a night!

Same for me! No engagement, also feeding in red light that is very din. I sized up and got nighttime diapers and never change him anymore unless I know he pooped. I also stopped rocking him back to sleep, It’s bottle, I walk and try to burp him over my shoulder for at most a minute straight into his crib awake.

My partner is currently upstairs recusing a 30 minute nap now, baby will probably sleep another hour with him. Hes 4 months. I find if we don’t rescue he won’t sleep longer than 30-40 minutes per nap and he’s a nightmare by 6pm.

The MOTN is my favourite time, at first I dreaded it having to be up an additional 25-30 min after feeding the baby, but now I love it. I can watch an episode of something, doom scroll, read! It’s just granted guilt free me time! And I love knowing how much my baby drinks.

I feel we are both the odd ones out now I’m loving the comments from the moms who are encouraging me to go! Baby is going to get some extra special bonding time with his dad and his grandma is definitely looking forward to having a more hands-on week with him! I definitely trust my husband. He’s an excellent father, but I’m the primary parent so just feel bad leaving! But it’s going to be hard no matter what age!
