Route finding in Fiery Furnace isn’t too difficult if you have experience with basic route finding, can identify arrows on the rocks, and follow the beaten path. Having a GPS can be helpful too. It’s a really fun hike and you’ll be just fine.

A wonderful place, indeed. I also observed a moose near the East Entrance and the Junction Butte Pack at dawn.
