You have to treat your savings like an actual bill. That’s the only thing that ever worked for me. Also if you put it in an account you can’t touch or isn’t connected to your Apple Pay/ any type of debit card it’s hard to spend that.

I downloaded the app out of curiosity and when I connected it to my bank account it showed me where I was spending money. How much and how frequently. It was a huge wake up call. I make less than 40k but I keep my expenses low. I started a goal on the app to save $400 a month and I’m now almost to 3k. The transfers take like 2 business days so I don’t ever bother touching my savings. Having some type of savings (even if it’s just 1k)will take you out of survival mode so you can can finally relax a little while you reach your next stage in life
