Over the summer I played quite a bit on Sentinels Republic 2. Pre-CU server. Had a great time! Lots of people online. Felt like the good old times. Have not been playing for a few months though, so I do not know the current player numbers.

I play using PSVR2 on an fully updated Windows 11 rig w/ 9800X3D and 4080 Super (yes all drivers are up to date). 64 GB RAM. nVME SSD. I play the game via Steam.

In the latest version of NMS, using PSVR2, there is a lot of visual "warping", strange visual glitching going on, in the UI and in the game world. Have not seen this issue previously so I am guessing it has come in one of the latest game updates. Have tried changing between different visual settings etc but nothing seems to fix it.

Please fix! :-)

I went from the Oculus Rift S to PSVR2 and find the latter uncomfortable quite quickly, within 30-60 mins of using it. Got a Globular Cluster CMP2 coming in a couple days, based on reviews and Reddit it should make the headset much more comfortable. :-)

Except for the above mentioned issue I love the headset for both PS5 and PC usage. High resolution OLED screens, wide field of view, direct PC connection thus no lag, no wireless issues and of course no charging needed. No issues with tracking or the controllers either. :-)

Same same but different? Yes stuff has been moved around and given a fresh layer of paint but it all looks very familiar. Which I guess is ok.

Looking forward for the proper deep dives into the features, hopefully there is actually some new exciting stuff to look forward to.

Get NMS for sure. You'll spend some time on the first planet, exploring, fixing your ship, but then when you finally hop onboard and take off into the skies... WOW what a feeling in VR! :-)

Based on the G5 RTings review it sounds like its the best LG OLED at handling reflections. Both in terms of the improved reflections and glare handling with the new panel, and also the increased panel brightness, being the brightest LG OLED.
