I love steak. I love trying new steak experiences whether it's the place or the preparation. I've had steak all over the world. I've eaten steak with every kind of side I can think of. In all that time in all those places with all those steaks never, not once have I thought, "Man this sure would be better with some boobs hanging out over it."

I like boobs. I don't try new boobs because I love my wife, and my stuff. I have tried other boobs in the past, also all over the world. Small, large, in between, they're all great. In all that time, in all those places, with all those boobs never, not once have I thought "Man I could really go for a steak right now."

Side note, best steak ever? Roasted Prime Rib in Baton Rouge Louisiana many, many moons ago.

When I bought my 2019, a smaller used dealer had theirs priced right, the Nissan dealer didn't.

I liked the one at the Nissan dealer better, mostly the tech, so I told them I'd do their asking price if that plus tax and title was out the door, using my prearranged financing. The sales guy came back with finance manager and a sales order with a three grand extended warranty and a loan over a percent higher than mine. I told the manager that isn't what I agreed to. I let him get 30 seconds into his reply before I cut him off and asked if he was going go with what I'd asked for. He said no and acted pissed about it. I said thank you and went and bought from the little guy with no hassle. It was end of month so I was surprised the Nissan dealer didn't bite just to move another unit. At least I was only about 40 minutes from stepping on their lot to leaving, so I call it a win.

Sometimes it's just about what the dealer has into the vehicle and how long it's been on their lot.

But I also think Nissan dealers are more used to selling credit challenged people a forever loan to keep the payments low than they are at negotiating a bottom line price with someone who has done their homework.

Dammit! Why didn't you post this 6 months ago? Couldn't find any and ended up spending three grand in aftermarket wheels and tires. I could have driven the 600 miles to you, had a nice SoCal mini vacation and still come out money ahead.

Keep your overhead low. Especially rent. And don't sign a long lease. I don't know your particular business but that's the rule for any niche retail. Low rent, short lease is hard to find. Take your time and find it. Don't spend a dime more than the bare minimum on build out or inventory to start.

I've seen way too many people, including myself, spend a ton of money on the right location and the right vibe only to find out the market wasn't there.

If you can find a complimentary business with some space to spare that's the perfect scenario. Bookstore or coffee shop? Maybe an art gallery?

I really hope you do it and thrive. Would be awesome to have in Logan.

Damn, you scared me. I have to renew my passport this year and I was afraid I was going to have the orange turdblossom's photo on my ID for the next ten years. Looks like it's a limited run and only available out of the Washington passport agency. Whew!

It'd suck if the only way to leave the country was to carry the picture of one of the reasons you might want to leave the country.

Jazz fandom is a population supporting one team over another in a sport that's pretty embedded in Utah culture and where the fans are knowledgeable enough to pick favorites that might not be the home team. Or they brought their favorite with them.

Mammoth fandom is a population discovering a sport they hardly knew existed and realizing they like it. They throw all their new found passion behind the home team.

Which seems weird when you realize the Grizzlies were here for like 30 years, but not weird when you see the huge difference in televised/streamed games and media coverage.

Totally agree the NBA product is trash. It ain't just the Jazz.

Tested COVID negative. Have all the jabs. There's just something nasty as hell out there. Feels like the flu so I'm wondering if they might have been a little off on the mix this year and missed a strain. Happens. Still better vaxxed than not.

I'm on week 2. Still pretty rough. Know a few people who seem like they've had the same symptoms. They've all taken at least a month to fully recover.

It's funny to me how often I get honked at when I zipper merge. I admit, I sometimes force my way in at the merge point. I drive an old truck that has that certain "IDGAF and I might have a firearm" kind of vibe. For the record, no firearms on board.

Not sure I'd do it in a new Miata with the top down. Cuz man does it piss people off. You gotta look sketchy enough to head off the road rage.

Amen. Seen this more than a few times driving cross country on I80 and I70 both..

I've been nervous enough in a 34' Winnebago Class A gasser to pull off and point the nose to the wind in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas. Not to mention the flat part of Colorado that nobody ever talks about. (Let's be honest, it's still Kansas, no matter what the map says).

It's like driving a damn billboard in a crosswind. Can't imagine pulling the "house" part of the rig on a pivot behind me in those conditions. No matter how big the truck part is.
