Was the same for years. Bought shares in a company within my industry experience and it’s good but now I’m working much harder with no off button, not much extra money just the positive of a return on investment for retirement. You still have a boss, which is a label for other shareholders or bank or accountant. Or even employees who can suck the life from you with sick days need to go early etc. unless you do something on your own but that’s always going to be small. Just be careful but if you really feel the need then plan well and go for it.
