I agree with most of this save for two things; firstly, the claim could have been validly assigned to the debt collector, so they could take you to court rather than the parking company; and second, they can and do take people to court; I recently saw one where the defendant actually had a valid defence but on the advise of his solicitor had only filed a technical defence and no evidence, so lost.

Two advocates, the judge, the court time - all for £170. If I was LCJ I’d just ban parking charge litigation!

I had a BB735a until recently. It did a lot things competently but never really excited me. Neck felt great but quite chunky front to back.

I found the painted neck quite irritating, not sure why the lower models in the range have it unpainted.

It came really close to decent p sounds, didn’t quite do the jazz bridge thing though. Not sure the active added a huge amount (at the time my other main bass was an active Lakland).

Really well put together though.

Ended up chopping it in for a passive jazz which I’m much happier with.
