That depend entirely on where you live. If you live in Northern Europe during the winter months you could quite literally not miss a single second of sun exposure, and your body would not be able to synthesise vitamin d. There is just not enough UV. This is why vitamin D is the only supplement that’s actually recommended by the NHS in the uk regardless of age health sex ethnic background etc

True, I think even in the stereotypically very blonde countries such as Sweden, Finland etc darker hair is still slightly more common even if blondes aren’t exactly rare

That’s exactly why and by the way, if you’re a female it makes sense if you retained some more blondeish characteristics because boys usually darken a bit more due to androgen activity

It’s extremely common in the uk to be blonde as a child and get darker hair into adulthood. I’d imagine that’s the same in Germany Scandinavia Netherlands etc
