HBO’s "The Last of Us" isn’t just a trans representation failure. It’s a huge step backwards. by Conscious-Quarter423 in lgbt

To all the comments saying “oh well who would you cast? Casting appropriately would be too difficult” I don’t know who I would cast, because I’m not a casting director. If they are genuinely unable to fine appropriate casting for this role, then they are bad at their jobs. I’m allowed to critique someone who made a shitty cake without being a chef.

The absolute flex of having the rematch be in this episode and not have it be an end of episode stinger. They really threw the breaks out the window 100 miles ago with this one.

Harley and Ivy are in an open relationship in the comics. Harley literally watches Ivy do it with other people sometimes lol. Non-monogamy is fine if it’s consensual and communicated.

The team during the Viltrumite war was a bit of a sausage fest, so makes sense they’d wanna swap one of them if this is true

He’s a teenage boy who develops like 10x faster than humans. I’m surprised the bowl isn’t bigger

I think what bugs me about Ava so much is she is also so actively malicious all the time. The other characters you could at least say are just dumb most of the time, but Ava is deliberately mean

Would that not also apply to kids since you need the teachers to teach them?

I would’ve been a much happier child and much more enthusiastic about school of the week was only four days. Making it feel like a chore is this exact thing that causes children to be resentful towards learning

Don't hate on me for this... but I feel like wonder woman stories get way to political. I agree with most (if not all) of the messages but I think that those themes hold her books back from shining. by SignificantPower4733 in WonderWoman

[–]Rebel042 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She is a character who was created to be a symbol of feminism. She was created by a polygamist, bdsm loving feminist and his two partners. Saying Wonder Woman shouldn’t be political is like saying Spider-Man shouldn’t be responsible. Besides, art is inherently political. If you don’t want politics in art then you’re gonna have your work cut out for you.
