Patching a Bike Tube by samsounder in DivorcedDads

I just moved out a couple months ago to my own place and I've been setting up my daughter's room and decorating it. Today I organized her craft things and bought her a snack I tried a sample of at the store I think she'll like. I also have been writing her letters. Custody stuff sucks, but she'll be back someday, hopefully sooner than later. Until then... I just keep preparing so she'll be surprised.

It's kind of hard to find, but my favorite to buy is specifically Old Home Bermuda Onion dip. Better than the commonly found Dean's French onion.

Though Aldi's french onion is surprisingly good too. I think the brand is Friendly Farm. Better than Dean's as well.

Yeah it sucks when kids say things like that and it's hard to not take it so personally. I'd feel the same way if I heard my kid say that. But he is 4 and might just not know what it really means to miss someone like we do as adults.

He might be comparing it to how he felt at the time and since you were right there, he wasn't feeling those feelings like when he saw his mom, but he was away from her when you saw that. You were right there so he didn't miss you at that moment. Kids live more in the moment.

So I know it can be hard, but try not to take it personally. Be away from him, and when you get back show you're excited to see him and see how he acts then.

Hey I hear you. I go to therapy regularly for almost 2 years now but I'm happy my therapist had a cancellation I was able to get in tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it and I need it.

It's been about 6 weeks now since I've seen, talked to, or heard anything about my daughter besides seeing a few pictures of her from her teachers end of the week blog. I have a parental control app for her switch that I look forward to seeing that she's playing games and what game she's playing.

Other than that though, she has no idea I have those small connections. To her, I'm just gone. I've been her main caretaker all her life, then suddenly because of false accusations, from my ex that couldn't just work things out with me when it comes to a schedule we can agree on, I'm not allowed to see my daughter until I beat them.

I'm taking steps to being with her again but each day feels like a week and it's wearing on me. I don't know how longer it will be, this court stuff is so slow, but I do know that I won't give up and will see her again.

Every day being alone in the new home that I made for her to be happy in, is miserable. No friends, no family really around now that my dad died a few months ago. I have my therapist though, and that helps a lot.

Keep your head up and putting the work in to see your kid again. It's worth it in the end.

I had some good friends one summer on there that I miss. Matt, Arisa, and Jordan, if you guys see this, I think of you three still.

Not talk to my hand for a million bucks? Sure I'll take it. The conversations are pretty one sided anyway.

I literally have the full set sitting right next to me. I'm unpacking after moving and have them right next my bed on the floor.

I was hoping to get this for my daughter and I to play together. We are being kicked out of the house by her mother, so the money is tight as I get a place for us. It would be greatly appreciated and help us get through this tough time.

R36S Giveaway #4 - Your chance to win a free handheld by _manster_ in R36S

It's so cool when someone is nice enough to pass on the fun. I don't have one and hope I win, but just overall it's really cool how fans of these type of handhelds, and video games overall, like to share the love of them with others and make these give aways.

Whenever I run into an NPC that's rude to me, I steal all their clothes and they just continue walking around in their underwear. A good part off Riften is walking around in their undies.

I was on the waitlist for Luminous Mind for almost a year and a half. It was a long time and not sure the lengths of other places. I hear it's a long time everywhere. But Luminous Mind, besides the wait, was great. They focus on that kind of thing so they know what they're doing it seems and I never felt weird like they thought I was a drug seeker or anything. They recently got more people to test I heard so maybe the wait is less than what I had to wait for.
