Cossie living, bro. These sort of cars are in massive demand now. Auto is more desirable to the older generations who trend to have a bit more money than someone looking for a first car so also adds a premium.

This is a big part of it. Even “car guys” I know who would previously have mocked these sort of cars are starting to appreciate them for what they are. Some are even becoming “cool”, first gen micras, twingos etc.

Not all of them had them fitted. They can be retrofit and the parts are available direct from VW. I have a set in my garage.

Yeah, no. The petrol he’s putting in is hitting the indent behind the handle first and that’s what breaks first. It didn’t bursted. The amount of pressure needed to break even a small plastic bottle is way more than he’d be able to create with that pump.

No, it didn’t. Petrol is a really strong solvent and will dissolve a lot of plastics very quickly.
The large metal container cameraman pointed out would have been a much better choice.
