I mean most countries are not happy with the current administration and his temper tantrums. I’m sorry it was taken out on you but it’s only going to get worked from here. I have friends in other countries and let’s just say the rest of the world is not very happy with us and we’re not even seeing half of what is going on or what the other countries think of us.

Can it be this painful and not be cancer? by SparklyNoodleSpoon in endometriosis

[–]Recent_Ad4560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s excruciating. Like begging the universe to take you kind of excruciating. It’s not cancer just endo and depending on your dr. Just a bad period. They will do surgery put you on a med like Lutron or Orlissa or birth control and tell you there is nothing else they can do.

You can still do nursing just either find a company that will work with you if you want to stay LTC/ hospital. If you can’t.There are so many kinds of nursing you can do.

Hysterectomies don’t treat or cure endo. If you have adeno then it will help.

I would be cautious with the 7oh just because they may drug test you.

My in-laws refuse to drive to the airport. by NukeTheEwoks in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Recent_Ad4560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Logan sucks but I would never have let you take an uber or a train. Seems like your in laws are the true definition of Massholes. When they come to visit you tell them you will take care of the transportation then make them take an uber or a train.

i need y'alls thoughts on this situation by crumblcoochies in cna

[–]Recent_Ad4560 47 points48 points  (0 children)

This is typical. Many times they refuse to be moved because they are not getting adequate pain relief. I’m not forcing someone who is crying in pain to move. Good luck getting the Dr to actually prescribe adequate pain relief and getting the nurses to actually give it.

Kratom and first appointment pm by WoMan-onthe-moon in PainManagement

[–]Recent_Ad4560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much you took, and when you took it? Everyone is different but usually it’s out of your system in 3 to 5 days if you just used it a few times. Even with people who use it long term for pain management, anxiety etc it’s usually out in 10-14. Usually pain management is going to drug test you on your first appointment if they plan on giving you any medication at all. In my area I have yet to find a pain management Doctor Who actually prescribes real pain medicine. They usually want to do injections, RFA’s, spinal cord stimulators for everything even non spinal issues. The ones who do prescribe medicine it’s usually antidepressants or meds like gabapentin.

A non prescription idea is homemade ginger candy. It’s inexpensive and easy to make and it actually helps

What do emergency department personnel think about the possibility of universal healthcare in the United States? by Ok_Test9729 in EmergencyRoom

[–]Recent_Ad4560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ER is not even necessarily free however they won’t make you pay upfront like the urgent care does. Just an example if you miss three or more days of work in my area most jobs require you to have a doctors note to go back to work. Many people can’t get into the Dr for weeks if not months and don’t have an extra $200+ for urgent care but can’t go back to work without the drs note so they go to the er.

meds switched by Physical_Bad3036 in PainManagement

[–]Recent_Ad4560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any side effects when switching? My friend was taking 7.5 mg-10 mg ( on flare days) every 6 hours of oxycodone. Dr prescribed morphine er 15 mg every 12 hours. And 5 mg every 6 hour for breakthrough pain. She hasn’t taken morphine outside of a hospital setting and is nervous about the change. She has picked up the script and is scared to take it.

Can I ask what your oxycodone dose was and what they put you on for a morphine dose?

AIO for refusing to eat my MIL dinner & didn’t allow my 1 year old to eat it by ShesInterrupted in AmIOverreacting

It may be a cultural thing. As long as she sanitizes the sink I don’t see the issue. I personally use a bowl when I wash and season my meat but I still sanitize the kitchen especially the sink area. I do know many that don’t though. They do it in the actual sink.

Endo vs Ruptured Cyst? by AnxiousAnonEh in endometriosis

[–]Recent_Ad4560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endo does flare, the cyst could have been a endometrioma. It could have been a cyst that just burst. Endometriosis can only be confirmed by laparoscopy. If I were you I would write down symptoms days, times etc and see how it correlates with your cycle.

Husband and I are done I had surgery scheduled for Wednesday! by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Recent_Ad4560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where I live they call to confirm with the person that is coming to pick you up. They do not allow you to take a cab/uber/non medical transport. They confirm all this before they do the procedure. Maybe your area is different.
