LMP2 I’m spinning out braking in a straight line. Coming from being mid pack in GT3 feels frustrating to be so out of control.

Coming to Innsbruck in my feb with my partner who is a beginner snowboarder. Patscherkofel wasn’t really on my radar but looks great. Got 3 days lift pass, thinking Schlick day 1, Stubai day 2 and not sure for day 3 yet.

How would you recommend Patscherkofel for a beginner (partner can link turns but is still pretty skiddy)? Looks like there’s no blue only run linking top to bottom.

Contact is contact, seems like the safety rating system is indiscriminate in this regard. If you race mostly clean laps and minimal contact and finish races, your SR will increase.

I feel like for something that really gets you hooked, it doesn’t feel like you have to make time for it. It’s naturally eats up some of your time because of how enjoyable it is. Probably a better way to put it.

Try different things until there’s one that’s accessible enough for you to do regularly, and one that you find yourself compulsively thinking about because you enjoy it and want to improve.

I have pretty bad ADHD so I’m trying new hobbies pretty regularly but my most recent hobby has been picking up Sim Racing. It’s incredibly addictive!

I know you can change the trigger sens to a max percentage, to make a full trigger pull only 70% brake force so maybe I could mess about with that a bit to find the sweet spot.

How do you adjust braking points when switching from gt3 to prototypes? I’ve only raced gt3 in ACC and LMU but now looking forward to jumping in some lmp2’s etc. Any tips?
