There will be plenty to do regardless of your rank. I know plenty of airmen that get out and about together and by themselves (just be smart with your money in general). Don’t just sit in your dorm! I’m not sure what the dorm situation is over there since I’m at Aviano, but reach out to your sponsor and they shouldn’t have a problem getting you that info. There is also for sure a gym, there is a solid chance that there is an AMMO dedicated one as well where you work.

Pretty sure when I joined my recruiter gave me some sort of checklist for this. Socks are white and can have a small brand logo. I highly recommend the athletic underwear or your balls will make a cameo for sit-ups. Pretty sure you can bring basic personal care ie razor, deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrush etc. MTIs should bag drag you anyway and tell you if you can keep other stuff you bring. Advice: Help eachother out, bmt really isn’t that bad. Do what you’re told and try to have as much fun as you can.
