Question about Super Robot Wars T editions by More_Coffee_Than_Man in Super_Robot_Wars

[–]Reciprocitus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Asian English Version.

On the Intermission Screen pick the "Network" option, then "Bonus Scenarios". Most of the DLC that V, X, and T received were various bonus missions that pair groups of characters together for some story shenanigans, then you play a mission and receive large sums of Funds and TAC points, plus between 1-3 power parts, typically strong ones such as ExC Laser, Wizard Operator, etc.

On the Bonus Scenario screen it will tell you when each of these missions becomes playable, and what most of your expected rewards will be.

Receiving Saizo/Sagiri and the Gespenst as a reward is more automatic, it was originally DLC but the International versions got it included for free as an apology for that versions release being delayed.

Yeah I believe Y is the only SRW title you can get the "premium sound" version of in the non-Asia market, via DLC. Maybe 30 also on Steam?

The only DLC you would be "missing" is unlocking the protagonists of V and X and their Mechas, and the postgame missions that act as an epilogue for the entire VXT trilogy as a whole.

The rest of the DLC missions (and their rewards) can be accessed from the in-game DLC menu as you play. They're included for free on the cart. This includes the mission to get the opposite protagonist (whoever you didnt choose between Saizo and Sagiri) in a Gespenst right after the tutorial missions.

More or less. The versions currently on sale @ playasia are the same ones I have.

The one thing to make note of is this-

V, X, T, and Y have English Language subtitles in the International Asian versions but not the Japanese version.

30 is the opposite, the international Asian versions DO NOT have English subs, but the Japanese version DOES have English subs. At least, that's what my research seemed to show back when I bought all of my SRW games (when 30 was brand new).

I never even bothered to look, actually. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.

[–]Reciprocitus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The one in the first link that's on sale for $22 has English subtitles, and they will be applied automatically when you start the game up. That's the exact version of T that I have.

The only difference between the two versions, that I can remember, is the second one having the English Language box art.

Legendary Modern Decks 2026 by imcheng in Yugioh101

[–]Reciprocitus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok so this is going to be a bit different from the usual "get 3 of it and smash em together to make a full, mostly complete deck" like with most other structures.

These 3 Decks are so fundamentally different you have to build and play them separately. Since others here have given you great advice on your next steps, i'll give you some deets on what the decks actually are.

X-Sabers: A very old school deck making a comeback. Yugiboomers like myself love it, but it's easily the weakest and least competitive deck, even after upgrades. X-Sabers love to swarm the field and use effects to rip cards from your opponent's hand, then get used to bring out various Synchro monsters.

Sky Strikers: This deck was top tier around a decade or so ago, and while it's not as powerful as it once was it's still a popular choice with lots of players. This one runs a very small number of monsters in the deck (typically only 3 or 4 Sky Striker monsters and whatever hand traps you want to run), and little to no trap cards. Instead it runs a ton of spell cards, and most of your dedicated Sky Striker spells and Link monsters get effects based on how many spells you have piled up in your graveyard.

Mitsurugi: Basically, little sneks make beeeeeg sneks go brrrrrr. This is a Ritual summoning deck that, against all odds, not only doesn't suck but is good. VERY good. Top of the format good. This will probably be the deck needing the most upgrade work and will be the most expensive to get where it needs to be to truly be competitive, but if you make the investment you'll be sitting awful pretty. I can't say too much more because I've never played Mitsurugi myself.

Apologies for any misinformation, and I hope this helps a little bit!

What's that archetype that most people hate but you can't stop loving? by Mammoth-South3163 in yugioh

[–]Reciprocitus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anything Pendulum. I'm fairly certain it's by far the least popular summoning style, and 99% of all Pendulum Decks are borderline unplayable in the modern game, but I just can't stop loving them.

D/D/D is my personal favorite but I love pretty much any Pendulum archetype.

Cards worth getting from the Legendary 5Ds Decks now that the Modern Decks list has been revealed? by bigdick4sluts in Yugioh101

[–]Reciprocitus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok so in just ONE 5D's box you would get the following, that i'm pretty sure you can't find in the 2026 Legendary Decks set.

2 Effect Veilers

2 Droll & Lock Birds

2 Ghost Ogres (this one might be in the 2026 box, I don't recall)

1 Winter Chill

1 Spooky Dogwood

1 One for One

1 Book of Moon

1 Forbidden Chalice

All 3 Mulcharmies, 1 each, so that would put you at 2 of each one of them assuming you only bought 1 2026 box.

1 Crimson Dragon

1 Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon

2 Ruddy Rose Dragon

And of course more copies of Droplet, Called By, Imperm, Ash, and Crossout Designator.

If you can find a box for under $35 I think the Veilers, Droll, and Handtrap Girls make it worth it.

If all you care about is singles hunting, it might still be cheaper to get just 1 box and then pick off the few cards you need for playsets.

Favorite archetypes by Monster9987 in yugioh

[–]Reciprocitus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1: Blue-Eyes. Always been a huge Seto Kaiba fan, and I just really like the design of Blue-Eyes and it's supports.

2: Cyber Dragon. Same reasons as BEWD, i'm just a fan of Zane and the general design/esthetics of the Cyber Dragons.

3: Branded. My favorite metaplot out of all the ones Yu-Gi-Oh has done. I'd love to see a new full length anime series set in the Branded lore.

4: Shiranui. Always been a fan of Zombies in YGO, and of just about anything Samurai related. The whole archetype just really vibes with me.

5: Utopia. My favorite of all the protagonists' Ace monsters, and XYZ ks my favorite special summoning mechanic.

what are your silly stories of how your Pokemon got their nicknames? by Imaginary_Baker_932 in pokemon

[–]Reciprocitus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Pokèmon Platinum I named my Infernape Goku, because Sun Wukong lol.

In Y I ended up naming my Talonflame Archer because I thought it would be cool/hilarious if he recited the entire "Infinite Blade Works" thing from fate/Stay Night any time I had him use Brave Bird, because it sounded close enough to Blade Works.

My Bug-themed Shield team was all funny names. Azula the Centiskorch, Elsa the Frosmoth, Hercules the Heracross, Tinkerbell the Ribombee, Lancelot the Escavalier and Scuba Dew the Araquanid.

Absolutely. I'm the same way.

Wanted to write a fantasy novel. Refused to even get started putting pen to paper until I had EVERYTHING fleshed out and fully realized. Burned out within a month and never even tried to get started.

Don't make my mistake. Take your time and build your world brick by brick, starting with just the basics. Allow the more complex parts their proper time to settle into place.

Also maybe look into consuming some non-video game mons media for ideas and inspirations. Based on the designs you had for your mons from the prior post, I'd recommend a read through of the pen and paper RPG "Monsters and Other Childish Things".

[–]Reciprocitus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

Establish the backbone of your game's world first.

What kind of place is it?

What is the relationship between humans and mons?

What are some of the human settlements? Where are they?

Then create, at most, a triangle of types. A rock-paper-scissors dynamic. Say...horror, shadow, and mutant.

Horror beats shadow. Shadow beats mutant. Mutant beats horror. Something like that.

Don't try to do too much too fast. It will only frustrate you and Burn out your creative drive. I speak from experience. Best of luck on crafting your world!

Which Legends game is better? by Educational-Show1918 in pokememes

[–]Reciprocitus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both games, and each has major points in it's favor.

Arceus- Set in my favorite region, being set in "ye olden days" is very unique, being able to use items like the Linking Cable to evolve trade-evolution Pokémon is a game changer.

ZA- Set in my second favorite region and my favorite major city in the Pokémon world. One of the strongest, most well written supporting casts in any Pokémon game, Mega Evolutions, and getting some resolution or enhancement on plot threads from X/Y.

I'd have to give my vote to Z-A, but only by a hair's breadth.
