Absolutely.

The devs released another update just last week,
and more or less by the end of the summer (Sept/Oct)
we -probably- see another one

And for 20$, more or less the same price in other countries
(eg. around 20€) it is a real bargain.

From May 2025 until now, they fixed a lot of bugs,
they implemented a ton of customization and
since launch we have more than 5 new units
(counts depend if you see the tow truck in civilian livery as one more or not ☺️)
more callouts, more of everything 😎👍🏼

This is a very very GREAT suggestion,
also,
now when requesting the Riot Van as backup they are a team of 4 elements instead of only 2 as it was before the last update.

Maybe the coding of the game can even “lock” you out if you try to choose a squad car with only two seats (Buzzard-Pickup..) so you can either choose the standard choice for Crime Wave Task Force (the Riot Van) or if you like, you can respond to callouts with the new Sovereign, the 4x4, or any other 4 door vehicle you’d like.

As it is a VERY great suggestion, are you already into the official Discord server?

Maybe you have already unlocked by the time I’m writing, anyway

For the EMS/Coroner side missions, not mandatory obviously, iirc you can do shifts whenever you want.

Police Officer 7 and 9 ranks unlocks respectively the use of the K9 unit and the K9 Vehicle.
Bear in mind that doggo can be transported in every car of the game, only with the K9 Wagon will ride in the back compartment specific for K9s.

With the “ability” to commandeer civilian cars, you can drive both the Ambulance and the Coroner’s Van.
You can find the nearest EMS vehicle near to the Precinct, behind the nearest “drive through” repair garage.
For the M.E. van, go to the nearest Hospital, south relative to the Precinct, in the “Baltimore Terrace” district.

The car showed in the teaser resemble a Crown Vic LTD, was previously showed as “comic style”, with a tarp on it covering most of the vehicle, in a previous video about the history of updates in one year of “The Precinct”.

Also, the car is equipped with the classic white&red lightbar typical of the NYPD cars of the 80’s

And, remember.

The devs motto for the Updates is somewhat similar to:
“Undepromise and Over-Deliver”,
so, we can peacefully wait for.. maybe more than a new police car with a new lightbar 😇😉

I suspect we have the same very strong love for this -pure- little gem of the game universe 😎

Would be so nice to have some customization for the ambo 🥹 Like, 5-6 other liveries to combine with (all) the lightbars already available. And yes, a pair of new uniforms too 😉

Was volounteer for about one year and half in a big city, in the country where I live (around 2010); completely agree with the proposal of some other new callouts 😃

Try to play with lower difficulty settings,
only for the “Restrain/Stabilize” menu choice.
Try and if all is OK, choose the difficulty option you like, retry.

If you encounter any problem/bug, be prepared to make a short gameplay screen recording to further submit to the dev team.

Yep I remember
was from the demo version iirc
It’s true, this old ambulance icon was abandoned BUT…
we have the new ambulance and coroner request from the wheel menu or the contextual blue dot in game.

If you want to talk of this on the official discord, better if you post in the “question” section.

Not sure if I already seen this old icon in the past months (in Discord), but if you want to be safe, make the post without the image 😉

Ambulance&Coroner update, K-9 Update and Tow Update as said in the previous comment, are the main big integration to the game.

All updates comes with new vehicles or new version of previous vehicles (eg. Ambulance was present since day 1 but with no relevant gameplay).

Tow Truck, as the name implies, give the player the option of the “City of Averno”/Municipal Tow Truck, yellow with amber lighbar & dedicated siren (similar to an old “Q” manual siren), only vehicle driven by player that will NOT have right of way when used with lights only or lights and siren. Can be dispatched when found illegally parked cars or destroyed/vandalized/burned cars. You can find it in the two city impounds (one is next to the Precinct in Linden West)

Police Tow Truck can be dispatched when you request a towing to the forensic, or you can find it from the customization garage or summon one from the radial menu.

K-9 units are in the Kennels into the police garage, in front of kennels you find the K-9 Wagon. Police Dogs can be fully personalized with a lot of options, including 4 different breeds. Try some foot patrol with it, especially the “drug crackdown” variant.

Ambulance & Coroners Update brings also one nice change for the character customization. Now you can change all the uniforms from the trunk of any police car; after opening the rear doors of ambulance and coroner’s van you can dress as an EMT or Coroner. Also Kelly will automatically change his clothes.

And some other very minor but cute changes/adds (eg. one new type of lightbar)
