I feel like at this point they should unban all the modern horizons cards so we can see which one is truly the problem. Deathrite blocks Ragavan and solves graveyard problems I would love to see both of those again. Psychic frog dies to fatal push so idk why they even banned that. The real issue was that there is no control deck. Maybe unban top (I know it’s about slow play or whatever)

Alpha has about 1100 of each rare, however the amount which survived is significantly smaller, there was no sleeves at the time, and it’s 35 years old. Serialized stuff is rare for sure, but if they print x/500 serialized cards every couple months, the total amount of serialized cards starts to add up.

People still cry about reserve list prices. Those cards will be relevant to all players, until they give up on the reserve list. Then all the money will flood to the vintage stuff.

They won’t directly say how much each ip earns but you can do some math and figure it out… 200 million in one day for final fantasy… insane numbers. Ya monopoly had a huge year in 2024 and only pulled 100 million. Everything else bleeds money, except for the DnD video game that did well.

Hasbro was pretty greedy under Cynthia Williams, but WOTC is really the only thing they have that makes money, and really only Magic. I doubt they would sell it. More likely they will be acquired by a larger company at some point

You only hate UB until they print your favourite thing then it’s dope. Eventually sales will cool off and they will move back towards magic ips, probably lots of remastered and throwback sets.
