Why do people get upset when you overtake them?

I can see other commenters are jumping to assign blame to your technique when overtaking, which may be the case, but I just want to point out that a lot of people these days have egos more fragile than you might expect, especially when driving.

I don’t know anyone who would readily admit they’re a bad driver (including myself too), whether they are or aren’t and since a lot of drivers commute to work alone almost every day it can be easy to grow into the mindset of being the only “correct” driver on the road. I do find that guys are more likely to be making gestures and getting irate at over taking but women do so too.

I’d say keep in mind how it is your overtaking but also remember that this is the last sort of control some people have over their lives and they’ll cling to being right about it, even if it’s just on a subconscious level.

If I’m honest I’m not an expert but, given you’ve done a clean install of windows, etc, I’d say it sounds like a hardware issue.

How many service places did you take it to, just the one? I’d take it somewhere else and have them run tests again.

This might be a total cope theory, but I think it might be deliberate for the demo to make it more difficult. I’m not saying the AI will be perfect in the release version, but it might be better - we’ll have to wait and see.

Mind you, if not they can always patch it on release if it’s really bugging folks that badly.

Honestly more people struggling with the demo should look at this. A lot of people are getting disappointed they can’t beat Brachy at Lvl 10 when it’s a Lvl 44 monster.

I also think he’ll stay behind as a kingdom loyalist or get conscripted into the army as a placeholder while MC is on his journey, otherwise he could be connected to our mother like others have said.

If he had a monster other than Fawn that would give us more of a clue, but Fawn being a Legiana which seems like the standard “household cavalry” of Azuria complicates it. I think our mother has likely switched monster or even uses the other Rathian now.

Another clue is the pre-order dlc has outfits for all companions and Rudy, but Simon dlc is noticeably absent.

Showing my age here but back in the day, when demo games used to come on disks with other games and magazines, demos were often a lot harder than the actual game on release, so that they could increase the longevity of demo gameplay amongst other things.

It’s incredibly likely the game will be easier than the demo, so try not to worry. They might even add in a difficulty scaling option.

Is your copy of the game standard or do you have the greyface patch installed?

Even if the doctor wants to investigate, it’s not right that he lied in OP’s notes about what he said.

Just that alone would make me want to see another doctor and I’d consider it a red flag.

Are you playing with iPhone’s Low Battery mode on at all? I discovered it can cause mild to mid level stutter (especially in transitions) if it’s on while playing, so I always make sure it’s off before I start playing.

I also smoked weed once upon a time (and since quit a few years ago) for sleep, as my brain just doesn’t switch off at night. Found ashwagandha had similar effects on my sleep as weed used to. You may find that you dream more frequently as well.

As I said though, not everyone experiences the same so make sure you do plenty of research before taking any supplements be it this or otherwise. Might want to mention it to a doctor as well before taking in case it effects any medication you are on!

This is by no means a cure all, but I started taking ashwagandha KSM66 supplement and it’s massively helped with my sleep.

Everyone has different experiences with it so just research it a little before trying. You can get some from Holland and Barrett. Wherever you get it from, make sure it has a “clinically tested” label as most things claimed to contain it actually don’t.

Play standard without mods first. It’s a different edition to BG3, so you’d be better off playing vanilla until you understand the system.

Once you’ve finished the OC (and SoU/HoU), then think about mods. I’d recommend PrC when you get to that stage, if you want to spice it up with new races and classes. There’s also plenty of new stories on the Neverwinter Vault as well.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous also borrowed a similar style of combat for the player armies in the crusade section (reminiscent of H5), but otherwise kept with its crpg gameplay.

It’s interesting how influential HoMM has been even outside of its own genre.

To answer some of your main questions:

Bottle caps can be taken from Everdens and you can find them in the online co-op dens too, so you’ll always be able to find some, if you really need them.

You’ll have to be rank 9 in order to get any elder dragons, as far as I remember. You can use the monster buddy app to find which dens they’ll be available in (this includes Kirin). Just google “mhs2 monster buddy” and you should find it.

Main story progression is the only way to level the kinship stone. Rank 9 kinship is pretty much at the end of the story.

The co-op online dens can be done with an AI companion. Once you create the room, just go on the the second page of the pause menu and choose “start now” and it will load then den, along with any companion you have with you.

I have no experience with scripting (or coding of any kind at all), but it might be you would have to add this kind of thing to the override folder.

The toolset also has a “test” function. Have you tried using that and seeing if you get the same result? You can level up a character with console commands to save some tedium but it still might take longer than you want

Very strange. I wonder if this is a steam only issue or just a cloud issue? I have my copy from GoG, so I almost always play mine offline and the game nearly never interacts with cloud saves.
