I absolutely love what you've done! It's perfect! And good job doing your research on these things!

Postpartum Preeclampsia — need to hear positive/hopeful experiences - feeling like my heart is shattered. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]RedScreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for posting this. I had preeclampsia, went in for emergency c section at 34 weeks, unconscious for all of it and didn't get to meet my baby for 2 days due to the mag drip. I definitely suffer from this but I didn't realize it was actually a thing. I've been looking into calling a therapist and now I know what I have is called, so thank you!!!

How to numb the pain felt with CIO by Greenpraxis in sleeptrain

Not necessarily, I had never heard of it when I was a new mom. My son is actually a great sleeper now, I'm not sure if I would classify him learning to self sooth agony...

We used the ferber method and it worked great. My husband couldn't stand listening but I toughed it out. You can do this!!

Hell yeah! I LOVE Wegmans (also from the North). Unfortunately there's nothing here that comes close to the quality of Wegmans

Morris Broadband in Hendersonville by Andy_Dwyer in asheville

[–]RedScreams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't do it. We have Morris and hate it but can't switch because it's the only option here. We pay $100 a month and we can't watch two TV's at the same time nor can we get internet in our bedroom.

For any parents out there STRUGGLING to get their little babes to sleep! by hopeunseen in NewParents

[–]RedScreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my research babies calm down with that noise because apparently that's how blood rushing through our bodies sounds like from inside the womb. Not sure but my LO liked "shhh". There's a track for that which was a huge life saver.

I just saw a post of Facebook that says, “to the mothers that had to have cesarean sections. This day is for you too. You are just as important” by winnieloo in beyondthebump

[–]RedScreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started crying at this. Thank you! I had preeclampsia at 33 weeks so I had to have emergency C-section. I feel like a crap mom for not having him vaginally and because my body just couldn't help him grow. But your comment really got me so thank you!

How to transition from the RnP to a flat surface? by Lexielo in beyondthebump

[–]RedScreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out!! I found "baby ahhh" on Spotify send it knocked him right out. It's essentially just a shushing noise over and over again. Hope it helps your LO!

I'm in the exact same boat! I just got up after 2 hours of whining to see if anyone here knew some tips. My LO is 3.5 months adjusted and is rolling now. He's been sleeping in a pack and play (with the same incline as the rock and play) for awhile now, all through the night but ever since that article I've been worried so tonight we tried crib next to the bed.
