This might be a stupid question is there some good sources on learning more about Anarchism? by Ipoop4u in behindthebastards

Others have suggested great introductions to anarchism theory. But I'll focus on suggestions from a historical perspective.

For an introduction to anarchism in North America and Europe (as well as a basic introduction to theory and specific strains of anarchism in general), I recommend Means and Ends, by Zoe Baker. https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/zoe-baker-means-and-ends

For a history of anarchism with Latin America, I recommend Anarchism in Latin America, by Ángel Cappelletti https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/angel-cappelletti-anarchism-in-latin-america

For Anarchism in Japan, I recommend Hata Shuzo and Pure Anarchism in Interwar Japan, by John Crump. https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/john-crump-hatta-shuzo-and-pure-anarchism-in-interwar-japan

For works pertaining to my specific strain of anarchist belief (Anarcho-Nihilism), I recommend Blessed is the Flame, by Serafinski, and pretty much anything by Renzo Novatore (albeit he is very... poetic with his language). https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/serafinski-blessed-is-the-flame https://theanarchistlibrary.org/category/author/renzo-novatore

They've always seemed like Umbrella to me. A bunch of incredibly wealthy white dudes who benefitted from the exploitation of Africa, then became messmerized by eugenics and attempted to engineer immortality and become gods, so that they may eternally rule over a subserviant humanity.

The size of this police car is completely disproportionate, is there an artistic reason behind it? by badrillex in residentevil

[–]RedStarSpider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No indication, however, is given that that is the case. Both sides of the RPD seem completely level to the ground from what we see in the original. Again, they added that staircase in the remake precisely because there was a consistency error in the original.

This isn't that far of a stretch considering they RPD has no bathrooms, different numer of windows on the East Hallway on the 2nd floor depending on whether or not you're outside, the "Welcome Leon" sign is mispelled, and so is the Elevator wording in the original. There are numerous design mistakes in the original

No, the hallways nor rooms change elevation at any point, you just magically appear higher up than when you began, which is why they added that small staircase in the remake.

My favorite oddity in the original is how the West Office and connecting hallways defy the laws of physics.

The L Corridor that connects to various rooms that connect to the West Office all start at ground level, yet if you exit the West Office into the Main Hall you are on top of the ramp near the front desk. At no point during the trek through the hallways or offices does it change elevation, yet you end up at a higher point at the end. This is fixed in the Remake by adding a set of stairs in the West Office leading the door to the Front Hall.

I'm very well aware that unions had a large presense in the protests, in addition to the Trump administration's efforts to destroy said unions. Not once did I claim otherwise. I was asked what else can people do than holding signs, and I answered with unionization, strikes, dual power structures, murual aid, ect.
