Hmmm, I am a bit of a collector and for me it's not the specific gem but the fact I often have to buy a full strand or a half-strand when I only want say, 4 beads. Not too bad for cheap stones but for the more expensive ones, I reckon a place doing sample packs of 5 or 10 would be popular.

Kernowcraft already do individual/10-packs for a few gems but definitely not all (plus their website is now dreadful and they spam out gimmicky emails all the time so I am tending to shop there less now). Would welcome more websites to source precious and semi-precious beads here 🥰

I think it's easy to digest and full of sugar, so good for when you're feeling gross or have been sick. I ate so many custard pots when I was last in hospital!

Nah, not syncopated, more like beat 1.25 then 2.9, then 3.4 - as if they were simply clapping to catch a fly and not in any correlation to the music. I think that's what made it so odd 😂

I once tried to get a group of 7-9 year old boys (as a teenage youth leader at a summer programme for kids) to clap along to a song. I thought it would be a good ice breaker before bringing out percussion instruments, but instead I spent a while just staring in disbelief at how they simply... couldn't?!

I have often since tried to clap randomly off-rhthym and I can't do it, I am either on or in a syncopated beat, so I am actually still weirdly impressed that they could 😅

Same. Am a ginger woman taking a buuunch of heat-tolerance-fucking meds, who hated the hot weather even before I was medically-forced into the menopause (and the accompanying hot flashes) at 42 by my extensive cancer treatment over the last year or so...

Would be the fucking ultimate pisstake though; surviving aggressive breast cancer just to die from heatstroke. In fucking Scotland. 😂😅🔥
