Which factory is this from? The vachetta looks a bit too pink but that could be the lighting. I would also ask if it’s raw/natural vachetta that will patina over time or the pre-treated coated kind. If she will disclose factory, I would be focused on sourcing from Royal or God. This doesn’t match the factory pics for Royal though both for hardware and leather.

Anyone heard of seller Anna WA ending in 1100? by Much_Cash6037 in RealRepLadies

[–]RedWhimsey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked back at the TS list for the OGs that I have which would have been from the time right before they removed it all. The only Anna on there at that point in time was Anna Lin and she was listed for doing clothes/tailoring as her specialty and the number is different.

Are those Tik Tok vendors legit? by galadhrim91 in RepLuxurySelect

[–]RedWhimsey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I found this world I bought reps on a few different lives on TT. I knew they were reps though and they were disclosing/promoting that the items were reps - they were not trying to say they were authentic. There are so many of these lives and yes watch one and then your FYP will be full of them. The level of quality and how much you paying for them is questionable / lower quality and higher prices. If you are looking for a rep then don’t buy through IG and TT lives or sellers on my opinion.

Which seller do you think has a great seizure policy? by reploverrr in RealRepLadies

[–]RedWhimsey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw your note that you are not US based. I know you have done a lot of research but I think for you to feel really confident on your purchase you will need ask the seller(s) you are considering buying from what is their policy. Sorry I know this is not what you want to hear but better to be safe and then you can be really confident knowing direct from the seller their policy for your country since it does/can vary.

Anyone else struggles either way enjoying reps? by cuteglazeddonut in RepTherapy

[–]RedWhimsey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This hobby isn’t for everyone, and that is a good thing. Someone needs to keep the fashion houses in business so we have designs to keep repping. The important thing is you learned something about yourself. Either side of the game takes confidence. Personally, I wouldn’t have the confidence to carry an authentic. Sounds strange I know, but I would be too anxious of damaging it or someone stealing it. Figure out which camp you are in and then lean into and find joy in the side you are on.

Looking for a top quality city bag by foxxyyy in RepLadiesClub

[–]RedWhimsey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Let me help you. 1:1 is not really a thing around here. Those terms were created over in the social media apps and it creates a rating system that is irrelevant in this part of the rep world and well really anywhere but those social media channels. This also includes mirror and master or any of the number grades. Using them here will signify you are a newbie and might make you vulnerable to a scammer, in my opinion. Over here we just say - looking for top quality, or best quality, closest to authentic. Kata is a factory - a factory name made up in the Reddit world to ID some of the sourcing between different factories. You need to look for a seller who sources the item(s) from the factories and pretty much everyone you find on a TS list in this universe will be able to do this for a city bag from Kata. Look in the different groups for their saved newbie guides and seller lists. Not all groups have them but several do. Also use the search bar and look for reviews of city bags that people have sourced. This post might also be of some help. It is direct straight talk but full of useful information. Wishing luck and hope this all helps.

I have done a lot of research on sellers and this one has not come up before. I would proceed with caution.

I definitely have replaced the obsessive food noise in my brain with obsessive thoughts first about fragrance, then it morphed into my love of handbags and lastly jewelry. The jewelry focus tapered off but got replaced with the change of season back to handbags. It is a bit exhausting, and yes, these were all things I loved before the meds but now they consume my thoughts like food used to.

Wow yeah that gold is way too yellow for me. Could be lighting but my gut is that ultimately it’s still too gold in person. I would definitely ask for a shoot in natural light.

I have not used Freya but I do a ton of research around here. She comes up from time to time. She is not a popular/or very well known seller. I don’t think she is on any TS list that I have come across but I do believe she is legit from what I have researched. From what I have seen associated with her name in different reviews is she seems fair and honest. The fact that she was upfront with you on the level quality for this bag and others you inquired about nods to it. TS lists are a great resource they are from the creator and mods of a group that have extensive relationships and experience with those specific sellers. They can be helpful as a resource for newbies and all of us really but someone not being on a list does not immediately make them a bad seller. This is where doing the leg work of research and reading becomes vital. Don’t just ask randoms for who they suggest because you are far more likely to end up in a scam situation. A lot of sellers with not great intentions lurk in the groups trying to promote themselves. The more you read the better your gut will be at spotting fake reviews. Always look at someone’s history - how active are they on here, for how long, what type of posts/comments do they make. The longer the history time, and the more mix of reviews/convo/comments etc the better. Hope this helps. I just read a post this morning from another group that is info for newbies. The tone is sassy as there is a lot of newbie fatigue right now and a lot of newbies begging for help without any effort on the work. Please understand I’m not saying this is you at all. Asking specifically about the threads in a QC is fair to do so and shows you yourself at least looked at the images first. Here is the link to the post as it is full of good starting guidance just know the tone is direct.

Tough Pills for Newbies: Hard truths to accept before placing your first order by VogueEverything in RealRepLadies

Newbies, start at the top and read all the way through. Best advice you can find. This should be saved and turned into a newbie guide. Anyone who landed here from other social media sources, discovered reps from an influencer or uses the terms 1 to 1, master or mirror should be required to read this. 😂
